🇫🇷🇵🇭𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞́ 𝐝𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞́𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐝𝐞́𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐂𝐂𝐃) 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 Du 10 au 11 décembre 2025 se tenait le CCCD à Manille. Cette rencontre politico-militaire bisannuel assure le suivi des échéances stratégiques, militaires et industrielles entre nos deux pays. Les échanges ont porté sur : 🔹L'évolution du contexte sécuritaire en Asie-Pacifique ; 🔹Les enjeux stratégiques en mer de Chine méridionale et dans le Pacifique-Ouest ; 🔹L'ASEAN et à l'Asean Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+), dont les Philippines prendront la présidence en 2026. Les discussions ont également abordé le renforcement du cadre juridique de la relation de défense, notamment la conclusion d'un accord sur le statut des forces en visite (SOVFA). The 63rd Council of Regional Organisations of the Pacific (CROP) Heads Meeting was convened today at the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Secretariat, chaired by the PIF Secretary General, Baron Divavesi Waqa. In his opening remarks, Secretary General Waqa extended a warm acknowledgment to the newly appointed Director-General of the Pacific Community (SPC), Dr. Paula Vivili, who attended the meeting in his new capacity. CROP Heads reviewed the key decisions from the 54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting held in September, considered the strategic outlook for 2026, and received updates on the implementation of the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent, the ongoing review of the regional architecture, and the work of the CROP Harmonisation Working Group. The discussions also reflected on the outcomes of COP 30 and ongoing preparations for COP 31, with a strong emphasis on ensuring Pacific leadership and people continues to shape global climate negotiations, drive decision-making on climate impacts, and advance collective efforts to safeguard the 1.5°C temperature goal. The CROP mechanism continues to play a central role in aligning regional policy priorities, strengthening coordination, and advancing a coherent and effective regional system in support of Forum Leaders’ mandates. #CROP #OneBluePacific #Regionalism
