Hi @g__j @OctopusEnergy Following our post yesterday, we were contacted directly by Octopus Energy and agreed in good faith to remove it based on a commitment that a part interim payment would be released by this morning. That commitment has now been withdrawn, with new “risk” positions introduced shortly after the post was removed — risks that had not previously been raised, that we have not been made aware of in any detail, and which were not known within your team during our call when the payment was discussed. Across January and February, ECO 247 LTD installed energy efficiency measures to 90 properties for fuel-poor and vulnerable households, as requested and contracted by Octopus Energy. We are still awaiting payment of £1.94m + VAT (January) and ~£250k (February), with no clarity on how or when these will be paid. These payments are now overdue, and we have still not been provided with any detail on the “risks” being referenced. The continued withholding of payment is placing our business and supply chain under serious financial stress, putting 50+ jobs and 12 partner businesses at risk, and is also having a significant impact on the wellbeing of those involved across our teams and partner network. We understand there are standard mechanisms within the agreement to manage risk, however the current position goes well beyond that, and we require urgent clarity on payment. (For context, a screenshot of the original post prior to its removal is attached.)

This bobber blocks replies because he doesn’t like his crap views being exposed.

All I can say is I hope octopus energy aren't ever put in charge of any emergency notification services. 😳🙄

We're thrilled to announce that we're now an official Cosy accredited installer with Octopus Energy🥳 Egensys are now part of a select group qualified to install this innovative product. #ASHP #HeatPump #RenewableEnergy #OctopusEnergy #Cosy #EnergyEfficiency #BoilerUpgradeScheme

@g__j "Typically cheaper" is patent nonsense, because if that were true taxpayers would not have paid out over £2.5bn last year alone to wind / solar generators. That money is paid out when the CFD price is *HIGHER* than the wholesale price of gas. Why are you lying?

@g__j @g__j if only this was the case for every customer. I’ve just been in touch with your CS service team trying to get some information on octopus go tariffs(my current) from 1st April. Apparently with only 6 days to go you don’t have a clue what you will be charging.

You are ignoring all the hidden costs. Sorry but you are a superficial thinker. It has already cost us billions & only 20% of UK energy comes from electricity. To upgrade would cost estimate £4.5 trillions. We cannot afford it .UK only produces 0.00001% of the worlds CO2 & there is plenty of evidence it does not cause global warning..

Waiting for a heat pump from @OctopusEnergy ? - cancel now while you have the opportunity. Six months waiting for them to resolve a bad install and the heating is still not resolved since October 2025. Engineers fail to attend and regional manager (Chris) is incompetent or a liar

@OctopusEnergy hi, got a call from this number 03330342419 claiming they're from Zinc Group on behalf of Octopus Energy but gave no further details until I confirmed my address and security questions. Wanted to know if this was a legit call? Thanks

Apart from sending misleading SMS messages and links that when you click them they don't show incentives to stay but cancel your switch. This is what I get when looking at changing tariffs on your app. So with prices expected to rise I can't see alternatives @OctopusEnergy @g__j

@g__j Man who flogs hugely subsidised renewables via favours renewables

@OctopusEnergy Disappointed on the first day of my swtich to Octopus Energy with an intent to move to Octopus Intelligent Go. Effective tariff on the day to switch is higher than welcome pack tariff, CC unwiling to help and happy even if I go back to my previous energy provider.
