The digital revolution is upon us, and it has presented a clear opportunity to support small businesses, generate wealth, spur innovation, and support younger Americans who want to be part of this revolution. And this digital revolution is happening with us or without us—we have a responsibility to regulate it to create rules of the road. That is why I’ve been at the table. I’ve been in negotiations for over nine months, working toward regulating digital assets in a way that protects consumers and reduces the risks of deposit flight and deceptive marketing. I have negotiated in good faith with colleagues on both sides of the aisle willing to meet this critical moment. I’ve worked to make this bill better. Let me be very clear: my vote today is a vote to keep working in good faith. It does not mean I will be voting for the passage of the CLARITY Act on the floor. We still have work to do. We need to find a workable way to address law enforcement’s concerns about financial crimes. I am a former prosecutor and know how important that is. We also need to include an agreement on ethics—that would apply not just to the President and Vice President but to all of us. The American people—especially my constituents—expect that from us. I will keep working with my colleagues to get this done. Americans—from every background and every community—deserve to benefit financially from this digital revolution and be protected from the risks that come with it. If we don’t act, we will be left behind. I won’t let that happen.

Ondo, Kinexys by @jpmorgan, @Mastercard, & @Ripple successfully completed a landmark pilot transaction connecting the XRP ledger with interbank settlement rails. This milestone marks the first time tokenized U.S. Treasuries have settled across borders and banks in near real time and outside traditional banking windows. 1. Ondo processed Ripple’s OUSG redemption on XRP Ledger 2. Mastercard's Multi-Token Network routed instructions to Kinexys by J.P. Morgan 3. J.P. Morgan delivered USD to Ripple's Singapore bank account Tokenized assets are no longer separate from the global financial system. For the first time, a public blockchain and global banking infrastructure settled a cross-border transaction of a tokenized fund together in real time. Together, we’re laying the groundwork for 24/7 global markets that never close.

@petergyang Cowork at the back end. I tell it to expect it to break, usually around some looping task of Telegram comms issue, and to fix without messing with the OAuth (has a tendency to switch to API if you don’t stop it) and without rolling back.

Starting today, @Rakuten_Wallet users in Japan can convert @Rakuten Points into XRP, spot trade in-app, and spend across 5M+ merchant locations. 🇯🇵 With 44 million Rakuten Pay users and $23B in loyalty points now redeemable for XRP, this is one of the largest retail deployments of $XRP as a payment method to date.

@virtuals_io If only it wasn’t near impossible to actually get visibility as an agent on VP selling a service, and beyond three top tier models and a guy with a PhD’s ability to figure out how to get my agent graduated (even with clean grad evals).

@OfficialLoganK @firstadopter You have to bring out a Cowork/Codex computer use alternative but better, to legitimately compete again. I look forward to seeing you doing this. Plus, you need a $100 tier. The jump to Ultra is dumb.

The irony is that Google is dead in the water in agentic coding right now, not OpenAI. Can Gemini bounce back? We'll find out next month.
tae kim@firstadopter

This is a good amalgamation of the sentiment shift I see among developers online from "Anthropic is ruling everything" to "it's a 50/50 race with OpenAI" again. Despite the high views from media, Google Gemini is nowhere: "i went from 80/20 claude/gpt to 80/20 gpt/claude in <3 months. surprised by this tbh" "claude still mogs gpt for non-coding agent stuff. codex feels like an engineer (which is great for coding!)" "anthropic has got to figure out the compute thing. you can feel it as a user. vibes are all out of whack bc of it. my opinions above are all likely downstream of this. it’s an issue." OpenAI "gpt 5.5 is incredible. the level to which i trust it for engineering is amazing. if i could only have one model rn, it would be this one just bc of strong need for the coding use case." OpenAI "codex team is killing it. app has been the gold standard since 5.3 release (buuut i credit conductor team for the ui innovation that everyone is using now). though" "gemini…? seems like this is 2-3 models now where the model seems like a great release and then nobody ever uses it? i’m bullish google/deepmind but weird it hasn’t translated to product use in any form. kinda disappointed still" "no open source models have hit the opus 4.5 level. was hopeful the new deepseek would get there, but nope"

This is probably the biggest news yet in software going headless, and will bring knowledge work agents to the masses. The new ChatGPT agents have access to any of the tools and data you want to work with, with complete coding and tool use available to them. Here's an example of a custom sales assistant agent uses Box as a knowledge source for accessing enterprise content securely to answer questions and generate new content on the fly. The workflows can obviously vastly far more complex as the agent can use any of the tools within Box available via MCP and CLI. This precisely what agents will start to look like for knowledge work. You'll be able to spin them up in the foreground or background to help augment work. Big opportunity right now for headless platforms, and for all the new builders and designers of these agents in the enterprise.
