Many Kenyans understandably ask why revisit 2007 now? The answer is simple. Because the evidence has changed. Previously, the allegations relied on witness testimony, commission reports, and circumstantial evidence. Now the individuals involved appear on camera narrating the mechanics of the electoral manipulation themselves. This fundamentally alters the evidentiary landscape. The evidence is direct, audiovisual, voluntary, and the witnesses are still alive. There is therefore no legal barrier preventing prosecution today.

The Affordable Housing Programme continues to reshape urban centres, with the completion of the Boma Yangu Bomet Estate (Phase 1), a 220-unit development in Bomet Town. Strategically positioned near the Centre for Devolved Governance and Bomet University College, the project forms part of a wider urban renewal momentum redefining the town's growth and residential landscape. The estate is now complete and ready for handover, with prospective buyers advised to check and book units via: bomayangu.go.ke/project/61 Designed to support dignified living, the development features essential infrastructure including a tarmacked access road, secure perimeter wall with gatehouses, paved walkways and adequate parking. Social amenities such as a kindergarten, community centre, children's play areas, landscaped green spaces and integrated shopfront stalls with a commercial centre create a balanced live-work environment for residents. The project is expected to stimulate local commerce, support population growth and strengthen Bomet's emergence as a fast-expanding urban hub. The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration has supported implementation through security planning and orderly settlement processes that enable stable, well-managed communities. Building on the success of Phase 1, Phase 2 is planned on the same site and will deliver an additional 1,600 housing units, further accelerating the town's transformation. Under the renewed commitment of H.E. President @WilliamsRuto to re-position agricultural production as the backbone of Kenya's economy and advance the nation towards food security, the Nandi Dairy Cooperative Union (NDCU) Milk Processing Plant has become a flagship model of farmer-led value addition and market empowerment. Launched in 2019, the Union brings together a group of farmers to collectively market milk, ensure fair pricing, supported by National Government regulations that protect farmers from exploitation, and create avenues for value-added products. The Cooperative processes milk through pasteurization and sterilization, producing Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) milk with 90-day shelf life and fermented products; yoghurt and Lala, with shelf lives of up to 30 days. Milk is received only if it meets strict quality standards, then tapped into silos, filtered, measured via flow meters, chilled and subjected to pasteurization. The facility operates five silos with a combined capacity of 20,000 litres but receives up to 100,000–200,000 litres daily. Cream separation and packaging of yoghurts into 250ml and 500ml cups and other dairy products complete the value-addition process. Currently, the union distributes products across six counties; Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Siaya, Bungoma, Busia and soon Kisumu, using a network of distributors and direct sales to supermarkets. The Cooperative also engages interns from various universities, alongside a core staff and other casual workers, providing both employment and skills development. The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration supports the Union by safeguarding the facility and ensuring smooth operations, contributing to a secure and stable environment for farmers to thrive. It may appear as though 2023 was just yesterday, but our stand for democracy is already written into history. As J.F Kennedy said, “Don’t ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” This is the spirit that birthed MDD.

Let’s get this straight: the @Senate_KE sacred duty is to defend devolution and guard every single public shilling from misuse and corruption. No threats, no “resolutions,” and no political theatrics can override that constitutional mandate. To the @KenyaGovernors Council unity will not shield impunity. Section 19 of the Parliamentary Powers & Privileges Act is crystal clear: anyone governor or otherwise who dares undermine Parliament will face PERSONAL CONSEQUENCES . Leadership isn’t about arrogance, defiance, or self protection. It’s about service , about transparency, integrity, and accountability to the people who entrusted you with power. Accountability is not an attack; it’s the heartbeat of public trust. Some governors who once stood as ordinary citizens “hustlers” with promises to uplift others now behave like county coffers are personal accounts. That illusion ends here. The rule of law will find you.

The Government remains firmly committed to curbing the production, distribution and consumption of illicit drugs and alcohol, in line with the Presidential Proclamation on Alcohol and Drug Control, which calls for a whole-of-government approach to enforcement, prevention, rehabilitation and asset recovery. In Mombasa County, this resolve is translating into coordinated, intelligence-led operations that are dismantling drug networks, disrupting supply chains and denying criminal syndicates the benefits of their illicit trade. Through strengthened anti-narcotics enforcement, offenders are being arrested, illegal operations shut down and criminal assets forfeited to the State to support recovery and prevention efforts. Justice reforms are also reinforcing these gains, with specialised courts accelerating the handling of drug-related cases to ensure swift and consistent accountability. Crucially, the Port of Mombasa and other key entry points are being strategically fortified through coordinated, multi-agency operations led by the Border Control and Operations Coordinating Committee (BCOCC) under the State Department for @InteriorKE and National Administration, tightening surveillance and sealing traditional trafficking routes. This integrated approach underscores the Government's resolve to protect communities, safeguard the youth and restore socio-economic stability by confronting drug and alcohol abuse firmly and comprehensively, in and around Mombasa County.

As a fast-growing industrial town and a key part of the Nairobi Metropolitan Area, Thika continues to experience rising demand for decent and affordable housing. In response, the Government is implementing four Affordable Housing Projects within the town to meet this growing need. One of these flagship developments is the Thika Depot Affordable Housing Project in Thika Town Constituency, Kiambu County, which is now at an advanced stage of completion. The project comprises four residential blocks; Block A (G+12), Block B1 (G+11), Block B2 (G+11) and Block C (G+10), delivering a total of 425 housing units, alongside studio shops and a kindergarten. The construction phase is already providing employment opportunities, particularly for youth and women, while stimulating business for local suppliers, transporters and small traders, injecting income directly into the surrounding economy. The successful implementation of the project has been supported by the State Department for @InteriorKE and National Administration, creating a stable operating environment essential for timely project delivery. #DeliveringThePlan @ngaosKE

I just sat with a Rwandese young man who sells roasted nuts (njugu karanga) somewhere in Woodley. A very amiable and respectful guy. I asked him if he enjoys his job… “mimi napenda hii kazi sana. Huku Kenya ni kuzuri sana na mimi huamka asubuhi mapema na kuzunguka kila mahali”. I was impressed. I posed another question, “wewe huingiza hela ngapi kwa siku?”… he posed and stared at me for a few seconds then responded “siku nzuri sana mimi huingiza shilingi elfu- nane lakini siku zingine elfu- tano hadi sita”… now this is the story, these young men walking around selling coffee, maandazi, and nuts, are not Kenyans, they are foreigners from our neighbouring countries. They are making money, big money. Imagine Kes. 5,000 a day times 30 days =150,000 a month.

Dear Baba @RailaOdinga , my party leader of @TheODMparty, you know my respect to you is unmatched, and it is premised on reasons that you have a history for fighting for alot that Kenya enjoys today. You are not perfect ,no one is, Since broadbased ,I have been lonely in the trenches , where you guys left me, I have been shooting in the wilderness aimlessly and allover to scare the approaching enemies and sometimes shooting you in the foot. Baba Huku nje ni kubaya . Your guy Ruto has caused more harm beyond recognition, and he does not know the magnitude neither do his proud, arrogant, close allies wallowing in the miasma of stollen money know. You are either praising them or you are put on a list to be eliminated . Myself have been leaving under constant threats by the high and might but I am kijana power ,the courageous biblical Caleb who ensured the voyage of the people of Israel to canaan, when everybody else thought it was mission impossible. The reasons I am still breathing ,I am strong in spirit. Baba, dialogue only works with statesmen . He is not one, and you know it. The best way to hold intergenerational dialoque is to remove the remaining, adamant excited ODM brigade from the government and join us to remove Kasongo. You owe nobody anything, and Kenyans has your history ,but this shall be the best legacy in your history book. You have shaken many hands, but this one is the last straw that will break the nation called Kenya . Baba, with all my all respect ,I submit and remind you that, Kenya needs a Renaissance
