If Ashiru Kudan successfully emerges as the Kaduna ADC gubernatorial candidate, then i would have no choice than to think the ADC party has successfully hand over Kaduna State to Senator Uba Sani for free because that man cannot match Uba Sani's political strength including the advantages of incumbency.

POLITICAL WISDOM VS. POLITICAL NAIVETY. I don't particularly give a toss, where a leader comes from as long as he is willing to serve Nigerians, creditably. But if you are still wondering why everyone is heading North, this is for you. Let's face the facts. The South doesn't have the number to win on its own and particularly not in 2027. And when Tinubu and his business partners split southern votes, it becomes even more impossible for the South to win. Here are more facts. The North supported Nnamdi Azikiwe to emerge as President. The North Supported Shonekan to emerge. The North stood with Obasanjo to win. The North stood with Jonathan to win. The North installed Tinubu. #FreeFact Now, because Tinubu has betrayed Nigerians, no one is happy with Tinubu. This means that the North is also angry with Tinubu. Consequently, the North will NOT support the South for 2027. Blame it on Tinubu Again, votes are used every four years. This means that votes are special, like diamonds. Wisdom demands that you use your diamond vote wisely. Political smartness means that you align with the numbers, not with those planning to rig the elections and the political #idi0ts who believe the rigging story. There will be no rigging. Political naivety means that you throw your special vote in the bin by voting either Tinubu or his business partners. NO SENTIMENTS. I will align with the numbers of the majority of Nigerians to elect the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The choice is yours. But Always Remember, Your vote is special. Activated every four years. It's precious. Don't throw it away. No sentiments. Lauretta Onochie @Laurestar

@instablog9ja Atiku's logic is self serving. Why can't the North rally round a single candidate from amongst contestants from the south. He logic that Northerners can only vote for one of their own but south can't is preposterous. It is the turn of the south. Simple!

2027: Why NDC, other Opposition Parties must Rethink Zoning Presidency To South – Atiku warns Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned opposition parties against zoning their 2027 presidential ticket to the South, saying such a move could weaken chances of defeating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In a statement by his spokesperson, Olusola Sanni, Atiku described the push as “self-defeating and intellectually dishonest,” insisting politics should be based on strategy and “hard electoral arithmetic,” not “emotional talking points.” “The first and most obvious question is this: how does a Southern opposition candidate realistically unseat a sitting Southern president?” the statement asked, adding that no incumbent president has been defeated by an opposition candidate from the same region. The camp also argued that by 2027, the South would have spent about 18 years in power in the Fourth Republic, compared to about 10 years for the North, making the zoning argument difficult to justify “under the guise of equity.” Atiku further accused some politicians of hypocrisy for supporting Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency in 2011 after the d+ath of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, but now defending zoning as a sacred principle. He, however, said the Southeast deserves “a sustainable and credible pathway to national leadership,” not “symbolic tokenism.”

Going to four years now, and the loud Wole Soyinka has not assessed or criticized Tinubu's leadership and administration. But he was very consistent during Jonathan's, and Buhari's govts.

If Peter Obi leaves the ADC, Amaechi is my personal choice for VP, but Seyi Makinde is the superior strategic move. Picking Makinde divides Tinubu’s Southwest stronghold while we sweep the North, leaving the Southeast and South-South as the primary battlegrounds.

This democracy we are enjoying today is brought by some people chief among them alive are IBB, Abdulsalami, Aliyu Gusau and some others. I want this elders to call Tinubu to a meeting and tell him that he cannot destroy the democracy they brought, he should allow opposition live and contest. Wallahi a single trigger can crash this democracy, of course they would want to use security forces to crush it but when push becomes shove even the security persons can revolt. Why not allow the opposition be ?

@Richinbodymind @AsakyGRN What exactly is your point? Obviously you don't know or you haven't read about Adelove, Hubert Ogunde & their likes, are great thespian who made mad money through movie productions. During their time they may not have made #20million profit but what they made had more value.

@AsakyGRN Were they even making 20million from films before now? I hate Yorubas mehn, they end up spoiling things that work. If Funke makes 1billion, does she get at least 200-300million from it? Yes, so which one is cinema doesn't pay. If e no pay, why una wan enter cinema by all means?

“Funke Akindele grossed over ₦1 billion at the cinema, yet she didn’t even receive up to 50% of that revenue. Femi Adebayo also made no profit from his film Jagun Jagun in cinemas. These days, you hear about massive box office figures, but most people don’t realize that the money doesn’t go directly to the producer.” — Nollywood veteran, Olaiya Igwe says.
