@staceyabrams @chrislhayes How many folks get their paychecks signed by these "wealthy cronies". More taxes on them means less folks that will get paychecks...

Trump is running the government like a Ponzi scheme—treating Americans like suckers while he lines the pockets of the wealthy and his cronies. He thinks people will forget, but they won’t. They’re feeling the pain every day. Thanks for having me last night, @chrislhayes.

ABC actually aired a USAID employee's description of the scramble as DOGE rolled up to the office, and their hurried removal of woke iconography a la the documents burning scene in Downfall: "@DOGE was in the building. We started -- we took down our pride flags, we took down- I took out any books I felt would be incriminating. No one was talking, We heard they started taking transcripts automatically of all of our Google meets. We -- they unplugged the news in the little kitchen galleys. It didn't feel good. And then Saturday, all of the websites went down. And then I lost complete access to my computer."

@RBReich If wealth inequity is a problem for you with the billionaires. I can say the same for you. Leadership starts by setting the example, so set the example and share your millions with me and others. If you are not willing to do this, then shut down your comments on this topic.

Half of Americans have less than $500 in savings, according to recent estimates. Meanwhile, the combined wealth of the three richest men in the world is over $880 billion. Our problem isn’t an issue of resources. Our problem is ever-expanding wealth inequality.

@TrumpNewsComm Well if those employees do not like Pres. Trump coming back to the WH they are free to resign and leave with Biden. They do not need to sulk about it. Live with it or move on.

JUST IN: White House Morale Plummets as Trump's Return Looms The atmosphere in the White House has taken a somber turn, with insiders describing it as feeling "like a morgue" due to Donald Trump's impending return to the presidency. President Joe Biden, his party having lost the election, is reported to be in low spirits, reflecting the general mood among his staff. The impending transition has left Biden's aides and officials in a state of dejection, with one source noting that the president himself is "totally dejected." The White House staff is bracing for the change, with some holding back on their emotions until the actual handover on January 20th. H/T Breitbart

KAMALA is being a nasty bitch to the bitter end. 👇 😡 “Kamala Harris Refused Vance Family Access to Vice President’s Residence” 👇 “As Vice President-elect JD Vance and his family prepare to move into the Vice President’s residence, they’ve encountered an unexpected roadblock: Kamala Harris.  Apparently, Harris has declined to host a customary pre-move walkthrough or even a formal sit-down with Vance and his wife, Usha. The residence is typically handed off with professionalism and grace — two qualities seemingly absent in this case. “When JD Vance, his wife Usha, and their three young children move into the Naval Observatory residence on Jan. 20, it will be their first time inside the white Queen Anne-style mansion that has been home to vice presidents since the 1970s,” reports CBS News. “Vice President Kamala Harris has not extended an invitation for a formal sit-down or tour, multiple Democratic and Republican sources told CBS News.” Harris’s team has claimed her focus on California wildfires as the reason for not accommodating the Vances. It doesn’t take a genius to see that her refusal is less about pressing duties and more about bitterness over the 2024 election results. Her actions here are as transparent as they are petty, showcasing a chilly indifference toward a family with three young children. Snubbing the Vances in this way is a fittingly graceless finale to Harris’s catastrophic tenure as vice president — a tenure defined by ineffectiveness, immaturity, and missed opportunities.” LIKE anyone with young children, the Vance’s were hoping for a tour of their new home for the next 4 years. Checking out the bedrooms for the kids, childproofing and preparation for their move in on January 20th. For Kamala to deny them this tradition, is a bitch move.

@charliekirk11 Any government employee fired or leaves gov. service should immediately have their security clearances suspended. Since they are no longer gov employees why should they maintain that clearance? They are no longer employed by the gov so no need for the clearance.

So let me get this straight… Three of Trump’s cabinet picks, Kristi Noem, Doug Bergum, and Tulsi Gabbard, have all had their confirmation hearings postponed due to paperwork issues?! They’re blaming both FBI background check delays and a failure of the Office of Government Ethics to complete their reviews. What could possibly be more important for these bureaucrats than completing paperwork on the incoming president’s cabinet secretaries?! This is outrageous.

@essenviews Maybe Fetterman has some sense after all. He may be one of the only democrats that is willing to publicly reach across the aisle to work with Republicans instead of fighting them. It would get good to see more dems reaching out to actually work together for the American people.

@pr0ud_americans Term limits are necessary. I agree with the 6 yr limit for representatives and 12 for senators. This shoukd become effective during the next election cycle... not a big deal...current officials meeting these limits would disqualify those folks from re-election.

🇺🇸TRUMP'S TERM LIMITS PLAN Trump's plan limits House members to 6 years and senators to 12 years, which would remove 73% of the 115th Congress, including 318 House reps and 46 senators, to "Drain The Swamp." What are your thoughts on term limits?

BREAKING: An investigation by the Inspector General has found that three senior DOJ officials violated the law by leaking sensitive & private information to the media to hurt President Trump's reelection chances. “The OIG investigation found that three then Senior DOJ Officials violated DOJ’s Confidentiality and Media Contacts Policy by leaking to select reporters, days before an election, non-public DOJ investigative information regarding ongoing DOJ investigative matters, resulting in the publication of two news articles that included the non-public DOJ investigative information.” “The OIG investigation also found that one of these three then Senior DOJ Officials violated the Confidentiality and Media Contacts Policy and DOJ’s Social Media Policy by reposting through a DOJ social media account links to the news articles." Based on context clues, the information they leaked likely pertained to the hoax the deep state tried to create about Egypt's President El-Sisi wanting to donate to Trump's 2016 campaign. I say this is likely true because Senator Chuck Grassley wrote a letter in August accusing the FBI & DOJ of the leaks. The report has been provided to the DOJ official responsible for prosecuting Hatch Act violations. Dear Future AG Pam Bondi, Arrest these crooks, charge them with treason, and put them in jail for a long time.

Sidharth@Cloudwatch199

I’m deeply questioning my decision to support the Republican Party after witnessing the persistent and dehumanizing attacks directed at me and my community by individuals who, despite hiding behind a veneer of respectability, openly harbor and amplify racist ideologies. I’ve tried to hold onto the belief that these voices represent a vocal minority, not the broader values of the party. But time and again, I am disheartened as accounts with massive followings—many of them wielding significant influence—parrot unhinged conspiracy theories and perpetuate overtly racist tropes without consequence. This isn’t just about isolated comments or fringe behavior; it’s about a pattern that reveals an uncomfortable truth about the party’s failure to unequivocally reject bigotry. These attacks aren’t simply offensive—they are alienating to communities whose values, work ethic, and aspirations align with many conservative principles, yet find themselves consistently vilified. The most troubling part is the normalization of this rhetoric by individuals who should be using their platforms to unite, not divide. It forces one to ask: Is this truly the exception, or is it a reflection of an undercurrent that the party is unwilling—or worse, uninterested—to confront? For a movement that claims to champion merit, individual dignity, and opportunity, it’s disheartening to see those ideals betrayed by voices that choose hate over inclusion. If the Republican Party wants to grow, evolve, and truly represent a diverse and forward-thinking electorate, it must take a hard look at its blind spots and the voices it elevates. Without that reckoning, it risks alienating not just me, but countless others who once believed in its promise.

Just to CLARIFY this because it's a source of confusion. Trump is ALREADY disqualified from becoming President under the Constitution for "engaging in insurrection." For him to legitimately take office, 2/3 of Congress would have to vote to REMOVE that disqualification. See?
