Antibiotics vs. emergent surgery for appendicitis- a controversial topic, but why we have well-designed, multi-site RCTs. Proud that @OliveViewUCLA was a main site, and that my colleagues were PIs. 70% did not need surgery at 90 days, and had slightly better QoL. @UCLAEMRes
