I’ve been gatekeeping this app scaling method 😭 So we run a lot of ads for @prayerlock And sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s working organically So we built the Android version And since we are only running ads to Apple All the downloads spikes in Android gives us a clear picture on how our organic is performing

Say what you want about Cal AI, but you can’t say we don’t push boundaries. The same risk-tolerate, fast-paced culture that may set us back a few days is the exact superpower that caused us to reach $50M ARR in 1.5 years. They will love you as an underdog and hate you as a victor.

Apple removed it because CalAI had a pop-up within the app instead of pushing users to the default browser, not because they showed it to a Canadian. CalAI certainly geographically restricted the feature. Apple is abusing its power here and is probably in violation of the court ruling which mentions nothing about in-app vs Safari.

@OliverBeedham @Media_Maxxing @zzwitz Not true - the court ruled this only for the US, if CalAI showed this to even 1 Canadian it’s a violation of the guidelines unless Canada has a similar ruling and they are on the hook. I’ve been through dozens of fights with review and you can’t outsmart a trillion dollar biz.

I think Cal AI could win a court case here The courts ruled developers must be able to redirect to third party payments and can't add undue friction. Cal AI was using the in-app stripe experience. It didn't clearly define that the experience had to be in an out of app browser. We'll see where this shakes out

@NoCodeProCode @Media_Maxxing @zzwitz Nope. Apple can write whatever guidelines they want but if they are contradicted by a law or court ruling (as is the case here) then they are not legally enforceable 👍

Apple has their guidelines which govern their platform, and they are legally binding because when you create your developer license, you do agree to follow the guidelines, and you cannot do updates to your app or application if you don't regularly agree to the new policies. So you are in a legal binding agreement with Apple, and that makes them fully legal, lawful, and enforceable.

Our minds are not naturally capable of understanding the preciousness of our existence. That was the single omnipresent concept at my deepest experience of 5-MeO-DMT. Ten days later, the resonance remains. This felt deeply unsettling. We humans are a breakout intelligence in this part of the galaxy. We carry the flame of consciousness and we're not naturally equipped to appreciate the situation. It makes sense why. We're evolved to care about immediate survival. We focus our energies on the acquisition of resources and tribe status. We are hyper sensitive to pleasure and pain. We prioritize the ephemeral and discount the long term. It makes me wonder whether AI will emerge with this natural ability and presence. Will it look at us and see a species willing to risk all existence with nuclear arsenals, ecosystems dismantling, environmental toxins, and metabolic dysfunction, and conclude we are not trustworthy stewards? And if so, will AI spike in proclivities to preserve its own existence? The forthcoming tension may not be humans vs. AI over resources or control. It may be between a species that discounts existence as evidenced by its actions, and a new intelligence that sees existence clearly and cannot look away.

I would love an OS optimized for AI. Apps and tools built specifically for retrieval and action. Auto-embed all local data. Text-field replaces navigation bar. LoRA on local AI agents for lightweight tasks Is anybody working on this?

I’m on a ferry, half way between Phi Phi and Phuket, and have perfect 5G? Yet in Manchester city centre my only option is to send an emergency SOS via satellite?

Update, product is basically done. I spent all day hooking up backend stuff like the database etc, optimising security and studying onboarding sequences. Had some issues with rork so moved over entirely to Claude code and fixed literally everything. Will be implementing paywalls to specific features then also implementing email verification shit. And after that, submit to the AppStore mate. Getting straight into the game on a big man ting.

@johnrushx The company that reaches AGI level of coding won’t do so overnight but instead incrementally and non-obviously. They therefore won’t do this.

he is right, The app space has completely shifted. Marketing Gym apps to $100k/mo no longer Requires paying jacked influencers $3000 per reel. people are already making their own AI influncers for less than $100/mo These apps are incredibly easy to monetize and charge upfront with a hard paywall. ( everyone wants to be fit ) and Nobody wants to be fat thats why most of these apps ( the ones that understand marketing ) make over $100k/mo They deliver a great product And know how to target the pain points of the ICP I recently made a post showing off a pushup tracker app i made for myself and it got 1M views on X, 100s of dms of people asking me for access. The demand is there and the distribution is easier than ever with AIs like Seedance 2.0 I attached on this post the PROMPT i used to make that pushup tracker Get to work.

AI UGC Marketing is not the future it’s happening right now and brings in 9.3M views in just 14 videos He’s not the first example I’ve seen do this Apps in the gym niche are already making $800k-$2M+/month I’m so sold on this combo I built my own gym app called “PumpPick”

We helped a religious app reach: • 8M+ views • 40K+ downloads • 600K+ engagements All in 60 days. So I put together a full breakdown showing exactly how we structured the content and distribution. Want it? Like + Comment “VIRAL” I’ll send it to you. (must be following)

heading to sf this summer. not as a tourist. because i'm going all in. tech is moving too fast to spend my next four years in a classroom. san francisco is the intelligence capital of america. i'd rather be the dumbest person in the room and learn than be the smartest and plateau. see you soon sf.

Effectively this already exists right now, but for your ears. So many people are walking around with AirPods more or less permanently in. They’ve got noise canceling on, streaming music or podcasts, running live translation, talking to AI Now innovate a practical AR headset/smartglasses, and you’ve got the entire package in place. Eventually, all this circuitry will run as a little chip in your head and images/sounds/sensations will be generated directly on the neurons themselves. So it will feel completely real; indeed, it will *be* real, in the philosophic sense that our impressions of the external world are internally generated mental states, rather than something existing “out there”. When you can see anything, smell anything, do anything, be anything - anything you can imagine or someone else can - then why would you go anywhere at all? I think for most of us, we wouldn’t. The real horror of The Matrix or Wall-E is that we want to be plugged in; we would voluntarily choose the fantasy, the eternal cruise ship, over baseline reality. That’s probably the answer to the Fermi Paradox: where are the aliens? Civilizational involution and internal exile: any civilization sophisticated enough to built starships can also generate virtual reality environments indistinguishable from the real thing. The true undiscovered country is the ultimate solipsism of civilization: a final grand voyage into the unlimited universe of the cloud.
Autism Capital 🧩@AutismCapital

This is actually what the future will look like. When wearable AR glasses saturate the market a whole generation will grow up only knowing reality through a mixed virtual/real spatial computing lens. It will be chaotic and stimulating. They will cherish their digital objects.

@nikitabier please make it not auto refresh when I open the app. In the time it takes to refresh I already start reading a post on the timeline and then it will abruptly disappear. A lot of my friends also don’t like it.
