It's funny, I've spent some of the day getting attacked on Substack by someone who apparently believes we led a “witch hunt” to punish liberal professors as opposed to defending thousands of them over the years. Now on Twitter, I'm apparently also unprincipled, but left-wing. This does get tedious.

Just tried to send a complaint using the website, bureaucratic nightmare. No category for ‘app/website problem’. Perfect.

Or maybe the whole point is to prevent us talking to a person? If so, make the website and app easier to use. I love well designed apps.

@united your AI system recognizes all sorts of words, but pretended not to recognize ‘operator’ or the repeated use of ‘0’. By contrast, the actual person was most helpful. Total AI failure in my opinion.

I think Trump is probably a "bad" person in conventional-moral terms, in the same way the Clintons are, Joe Biden likely is, etc. But, none of this really changes why adult members of a predator species would vote for any of them, and it's a bit absurd to deny this. The #1 issue for feminist white and ADOS women in the USA is often abortion through the term of a pregnancy, and they back any Dem over any 'Derm for this reason (not a troll post: glad to share polling data). Similarly, Mr. Biden's in-practice opening of the US border and letting in 4-8 million totally unwanted illegal invaders - FOX News' 12M is a bit high - strikes me as far far far worse than any harsh measures the Pachyderms have taken to deport illegals. I'll likely vote GOP as long as this is what Dems plan to do. And so on. Reality exists beyond the squalling.

@Verizon yesterday a new low in customer service. Roaming in Italy didn’t work for more than a day, in April; was billed twice for one line roaming, then was billed a daily amount additionally; then spent maybe an hour on hold without ever talking to a live person. Atrocious.
