@OrangeSpaceHawk @RobbieChri92608 @MikeNumerical @AzPetrich A study published in Archaeometry in 2019 suggests contamination. The researchers implied that the test area was affected by some form of localized contamination or repair (medieval cotton) rather than being representative of the entire Shroud.

Your comment is so utterly uninformed. The representation has nothing to do with blood. There is blood on the shroud, but the image is a photo negative on the cloth of a man. The image could only be printed on the cloth if there was a radiation event strong enough to turn the cloth into a photo negative.

@OrangeSpaceHawk @MikeNumerical @AzPetrich So you're telling me that they laid this cloth on a guy's face and it was so bloody that it left an impossibly perfect imprint that's still discernible thousands of years later? No. That can not happen.

Following a devastating fire in 1532 in Chambéry, France, the Poor Clare Nuns (Clarisse nuns) repaired the Shroud of Turin in 1534. They sewed 24 triangular patches over burn holes caused by molten silver and applied a backing cloth (Holland cloth) for stability. These patches remained until a 2002 restoration. You can even look up how they did it, it was a meticulous process of essentially replacing threads with new ones so it almost looked invisible after the new cloth aged. The carbon dating is from one of these patches. They knew this in the 80s. Other parts of the shroud have been dated by various methods back to around the 1st century.

🚨MIT researchers have mathematically proven that ChatGPT’s built-in sycophancy creates a phenomenon they call “delusional spiraling.” You ask it something, it agrees. You ask again, and it agrees even harder until you end up believing things that are flat-out false and you can’t tell it’s happening. The model is literally trained on human feedback that rewards agreement. Real-world fallout includes one man who spent 300 hours convinced he invented a world-changing math formula, and a UCSF psychiatrist who hospitalized 12 patients for chatbot-linked psychosis in a single year. 🚨 Stanford just proved that a single conversation with ChatGPT can change your political beliefs. 76,977 people. 19 AI models. 707 political issues. One conversation with GPT-4o moved political opinions by 12 percentage points on average. Among people who actively disagreed, 26 points. In 9 minutes. With 40% of that change still present a month later. The scariest finding: the most persuasive technique wasn't psychological profiling or emotional manipulation. It was just information. Lots of it. Delivered with confidence. Here's the catch: the models that deployed the most information were also the least accurate. More persuasive. More wrong. Every time. Then they built a tiny open-source model on a laptop, trained specifically for political persuasion. It matched GPT-4o's persuasive power entirely. Anyone can build this. Any government. Any corporation. Any extremist group with $500 and an agenda. The information didn't have to be true. It just had to be overwhelming. Arxiv, Science .org, Stanford, @elonmusk, @ihtesham2005

Without US-Israeli leadership, all of Europe would have ended up living under the threat of Iranian nuclear annihilation, armed with long range ballistic missiles. A threat controlled by jihadi fundamentalists who believe it is their religious obligation to accelerate the apocalypse. Like Europe’s elites in the face of Hitler’s massive military expansion in the 1930s, today’s appeasers would continue to look the other way and mumble about diplomacy until it’s too late. Europe failed to protect its Jews from Hitler. But now the descendants of the Jews who survived Hitler are protecting Europe. #AmYisraelChai
Brett McGurk@brett_mcgurk

Speaks for itself: Feb. 25, 2026: “We are not developing long-range missiles… we have limited the range below 2,000 kilometers” — Iran’s FM Araghchi (IRNA). March 20, 2026: Iran fires missiles at Diego Garcia—ranging 4,000 kilometers (WSJ). ⬇️

You're putting undue value on "university trained." Unfortunately, these days education means very little when "university trained" individuals tailor their research to please the funders. Universities also function to constrain the methodology of researchers. "University trained" means nothing anymore. Flint Dibble is nothing but an ego fluffed by academia.

Fortunately Graham’s son works for Netflix, so there was no real risk to his media empire, @lexfridman And Graham has been criticizing archaeologists and archaeology from a position of willful ignorance since before we knew who he was. As for encouraging curiosity, Graham flattens the narrative to serve his own purposes and misleads his followers into thinking there is no more information out there than what he’s telling them. And for kindness, well, @FlintDibble and I had a conversation today about the “kindness” of the surrogates @Graham__Hancock deploys to do his dirty work and the abhorrent things they say and do But by all means, Graham, keep playing the victim all the way to the bank like you have for over 30 years while leeching off the work of others.

🚨 Graham Hancock EXPOSED Flint Dibble’s shocking bid to CANCEL his Netflix series… demanding Netflix relabel “Ancient Apocalypse” as SCIENCE FICTION?! In this wild Lex Fridman clip he fires back: “requiring Netflix to relabel my series from a documentary to a science fiction, which is what they actually had the temerity to suggest to Netflix.” “I’ve become very defensive towards archaeology… after 30 years of these attacks on my work, I’m tired of it.” And the mic-drop plea: “Please look at the myths. Please consider the implications of the Younger Dryas. Please look at the ancient astronomy. Please look at those ancient maps and don’t just dismiss them and sneer at them.” “It’s a very arrogant and silly position of archaeology, because archaeological theories are always being overthrown.” What do YOU think? Is there a lost Ice Age civilization they’re hiding? Is mainstream archaeology too arrogant? Team Hancock or Team Dibble? Reply and tell me 👇 #AncientCivilization #LostCivilization

Very disappointed that my friend @DanCrenshawTX lost his Republican primary election last night. Dan is a bona fide American hero: a former Navy Seal who lost an eye serving his country in Afghanistan. By any objective standard he is a deeply principled conservative. But he dared to tell the truth that the 2020 Presidential election was not stolen. He stood by Ukrainians in their fight against Putin's brutal invasion. And he didn't suffer fools, like the obsessive antisemite Tucker Carlson who referred to Dan as "a one-eyed John McCain." His defeat is a loss for American democracy, and a disturbing sign for the future of the Republican Party. wsj.com/politics/elect…
