Interested in hearing people's current experience of Twitter (UK followers) Are you (1) Still mostly as engaging now as it has been in the past? (2) a noticeable fall-off in engagement/people? (3) reduced significantly/not main platform/considering leaving?

NPC personalities are best when they're anchored firmly to ONE THING. Pick an animal, and have them act like that animal. Pick a character from a movie. Pick an emotion. Pick a color. Just pick one thing.

@MoseyDm All of this fits perfectly within the typical principles of OSR games/tables. Where you saw the kind of behaviour is 90s/00s 2/3rd edition where the rules got so complex and detailed there were bound to be errors and exploits, as well as big variations in character power

I may be welling up a bit this was included. Table arguments should be down about 61% now. I feel OSR folks hate this for some reason.

The kids are true Texans. They walked outside this morning and said “oh it’s like fall! It’s so chilly!” It’s 76F/24C. 24 is like a death heat wave in the UK right?

🚨 New Blog Post! 🚨 The somata engraving kit will find you when it wants to be found, offering powerful, permanent spellcraft to those willing to carve away their flesh. You only have so much room on your body for the runes. What magic will you work into your soul?

Did the Boundary Commission name "Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme" for a bet? Sounds like a failed attempt to enter the children's adventure book market.

I actually make a habit of talking about upcoming reviews & content on the Patreon! It allows me to set expectations & be more candid about the work of running the channel. Yes, the next review is Mothership. A big video for a philosophically big game.

@panny_lines The year is 2034 and ttrpg play culture has divided into three factions; soup preppers, soup random tablers and soup improvisers. A rag tag band of GMs attempt to solicit player input via questioning the position and effect of soup. They are swiftly exiled.
