You’re right that 15-16 seeds sometimes win, rare but they win. 15–16 seeds have never received an at-large bid — They win their conference to get in. I agree that it isn’t about the best matchups. It’s about getting the best 32 teams after the 32 autobids. Miami isn’t one of the best 32…just aren’t.

The committee had 31-1 Miami (Ohio) as the very LAST team in. Wow.

There’s no point in having a good debate — You know they’re not a remotely quality team just by admitting you don’t care if the get trounced. You know it’s coming. If they’re going to play such a bad schedule, then win your league like everyone else. This team has no chance of winning their game.
