@GodlessApeMan @AtheistRepublic An interesting book i would recommend on this subject is Jonathan Haidts the righteous mind were he comes to the conclusion that the problem is more general. we intuitively respond to the world first and then make up reasons and rationales as to why we reacted how we did second.

We know cigarettes are addictive and bad for you/society, so we put warning labels, tax it extra, and make it illegal for minors. Imagine if we did the same to social media.
