Catholicism kill shot: why did Paul not mention Mary one single time?
𝕊𝕠𝕝𝕒 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕕 🎚️@sola_chad
The New Testament contains 7,957 verses. None of them tell you to pray to Mary.
English

@OrthoSpoon @candlemaker4673 Jesus is very much in almost all books after the Pentateuch smh?
English

This dude gotta be retarded

Reminder: every single person in this photo is Jewish.

@adelethelaptop What lies? She birthed God in the flesh? Because that’s true. Yall consistently minimize her importance, as if she’s “just like us.” But she’s not. The rest of us didn’t give birth to Christ.
English

Protestants don’t have a problem with Mary. We love our sister in Christ. We have a problem with the lies you tell about her.

This is why Protestants have a problem with Mary. It’s not what you think. Watch.

@JasonRitchze @CertainSpeaks Begotten does not mean created it has never once been interpreted that way by any Christian before Arius (a heretic) And “beginning of creation” is because it was through the Son that all things were created as is stated by Christ Himself.
English

@OrthoSpoon @CertainSpeaks Colossians 1:15 and Revelation 3:14 show that Jesus had a beginning as the “firstborn of all creation” and the “beginning of God’s creation.” He is "of" creation. Jesus is also referred to as the “only-begotten”, which implies that he is a created being.
English

@JasonRitchze @CertainSpeaks The Holy Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of God throughout scripture so that’s a given. Those verses affirm Christ’s divinity. No not a small g “god” because that is referring to created beings such as angels. And Christ is uncreated.
English

@OrthoSpoon @CertainSpeaks None of those verses mention the holy spirit, so they don't support the Trinity.
English

@JasonRitchze @CertainSpeaks It’s capitalized and emphasized as I AM in the Septuagint which is the earliest compilation of the Old Testament. You’re just making assertions based on a personal interpretation to justify a heresy that was squashed over a thousand years ago.
English

@OrthoSpoon @CertainSpeaks When Jesus said, “Before Abraham was born, I am,” he was simply stating that he existed before Abraham. Also, Koine Greek does not use upper or lower case letters to distinguish divine titles like “I AM.” Capitalizing “I AM” is very misleading.
English

@JasonRitchze @CertainSpeaks It’s the unity of essence and nature. Christ is uncreated. Therefore divine.
English

@OrthoSpoon @CertainSpeaks When Jesus said “I and the Father are one,” he was talking about unity of purpose with God the Father. This unity of purpose extended to his followers. In John 17:22, Jesus prayed to God saying, "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one."
English

@JasonRitchze @CertainSpeaks That’s literally not even true. And you’d first have to justify why your interpretation of the verse is actually correct and that 2000 years of Christianity has accepted Christ as God. On what authority are you right and every Church Father succeeded from the apostles is wrong?
English

@OrthoSpoon @CertainSpeaks If John wanted to say that the Word is God, he could have written “ho logos en ho theos.” But he didn’t. He made a distinction between ho theos and theos. The lack of the definite article describes a quality of the Word. The Word is like God, divine, “a god” but not God himself.
English

@DracoReformans Bro thinks Papists and Protestants are the only thing. Lmaoooo
English

@Joshua_M_Hump Yeah I agree they should’ve went to Orthodoxy instead ☦️ Christos Anesti buddy
English

@antepedium Comparing Luther to Jesus gotta be the most retarded thing I’ve seen all week
English

@gladnainervozna It’s really not hard to dress for the occasion fr. People like to use “come as you are” as an excuse to be disrespectful
English

i think it’s weird to see so many people make excuses for this like literally just covering your shoulders and knees isn’t that difficult
Rev .Vitus@Vitus_osst
Why will they allow people to dress like this in the Church for Mass? This is a total insult to Christ.
English

@Josiaicae You got the internet Orthobros that are still catechumens super fired up with this one lol.
English

@realmikolson Where in the Bible does it say Mary actively sinned? Specifically. Since you’re all Sola Scriptura and what not. No assumptions or inferences, I want chapter and verse.
English

Things Mary never did:
- lived a sinless life
- gave her life for ours
- atoned for our sins at the cross
- was resurrected from the dead as proof the atonement was fully satisfied
- sat down at the right hand of the Father
- tore the curtain in two
- crushed the head of the serpent (Genesis 3)
- imputed her righteousness to our account
- now makes intercession for us with the Father
Yes, Mary is blessed [because Jesus is]. But Mary does not deserve our worship. Jesus alone does.
English

@maryarchived Literally the most retarded take I’ve ever heard. Sorry but this is a big L on your part. The Last Of Us, God Of War, RE9, The Walking Dead. Fans of these are predators now? Shut the fuck up.
English

lots of strange reactions to this game. let’s clear some things up:
childless men do not have paternal instincts the way that childless women have maternal instincts (we observe this even in the way little girls play vs. little boys).
men first experience paternal instincts once they have their own children - and typically, those paternal instincts are only ever felt for their own children, and no one else’s.
men are not nurturers. men don’t gush over cute kids in public. men don’t have baby fever. if a man wants to possess a child for any reason other than it being a product of his own lineage, he is likely a predator.
and you’d be taking the feminist/radical gender abolitionist position to protest any of the above points.
this should explain why a “dad simulator” game marketed to mostly childless men gives people the creeps.
