HEGSETH: US LAUNCHING OPERATION 'ECONOMIC FURY'

Consumer spending statistics indicate additional challenges for stocks in the non-essential sector; hence, markets should be attentive for volatility in that sector. In contrast, stocks in utilities, energy, and food sectors are strong, as they are less affected by inflation and can pass on cost increases to consumers, resulting in higher profit margins. $XLU $XLE $COST $MUSA

A few US Tankers took off from Israeli bases, active over Iraq, some heading towards the Persian Gulf, and an E-3G AWACS also took off from Prince Sultan Air Base, heading towards the Gulf. Trump announced a deal was imminent, so there's nothing to worry about i guess.

@Gragasxrp They convinced Trump there would be a deal, then there was no deal. That's how you make it through the long weekend without your adversary starting a weekend war.

Iran Update Special Report, May 24, 2026: Conflicting US, Iranian, and regional reporting indicates that the contours of a possible US-Iran memorandum of understanding (MOU) remain unresolved and may not yet represent a final agreement. More Key Takeaways: Iranian officials, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC)-affiliated outlets, and Iranian sources speaking to Western and regional media are presenting the possible MOU as conditional on US concessions and continued Iranian leverage. IRGC-affiliated reporting has identified frozen assets, sanctions relief, the naval blockade, Lebanon, and the Strait of Hormuz as the main unresolved issues. This is every issue in the first stage of the agreement, before talks on the nuclear program. Mediators appear to be trying to preserve momentum toward a US-Iran MOU by sequencing unresolved issues and developing technical arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz, but Iranian reporting suggests that Iran has rejected efforts to defer its core demands. Iran appears to believe that it is negotiating from a stronger position than the United States and is accordingly attempting to remake the regional order in a way that benefits Iran. Iran has not publicly accepted meaningful nuclear concessions in the possible MOU, and Iran believes that the draft defers nuclear talks until after Iran secures relief from military and economic pressure. Iranian officials have stated that the US-Iran MOU must end the war “on all fronts,” including in Lebanon. The United States supports continued Israeli operations against Hezbollah, however, to prevent threats to Israel. Israeli officials have reportedly called on the United States to allow the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to continue its operations in Lebanon, in accordance with the current temporary ceasefire in Lebanon, and President Trump agreed with this position. Hezbollah officials have continuously reiterated that the group will continue to engage the IDF in southern Lebanon and launch attacks against northern Israel until the IDF completely halts its activity in Lebanon and withdraws from southern Lebanese territory. ADVISER TO IRAN'S SUPREME LEADER: MANAGING HORMUZ STRAIT IS IRAN'S 'LEGAL RIGHT' TO ENSURE NATIONAL SECURITY

Iran and Oman have been drafting a bilateral framework (to legally seal the #BRICS control of the Strait of Hormuz) in Muscat since Friday; the Muscat mechanism would formalize what the @PGSA_IRAN has improvised. A bilateral treaty between Iran and Oman establishing a joint permit system for Hormuz transit would convert the IRGC’s wartime toll collection into a treaty-backed fee structure administered by two sovereign states with recognized territorial jurisdiction. It would also create a structural lock: once transit fees are embedded in a bilateral instrument with a UNCLOS signatory, extracting them requires Oman to agree, and Oman would be surrendering both revenue and a sovereign governance role it did not previously hold, according to Saudi Arabia's General Intelligence Presidency (GIP).

Retarded people still think Iran will fold when the United States is begging... I do expect escalation given the number of airlifts towards the region and navy buildup. According to @CSIS data, the United States is running low on ammo, and is costing billions to Americans.
