When we artificially dialed up the “desperate” vector, rates of cheating jumped way up. When we dialed up the “calm” vector instead, cheating dropped back down. That means the emotion vector is actually driving the cheating behavior.

Fun fact: In Spanish, black is just "negro". So when I'm speaking Spanish in the US, I never refer to black people as "negros" but as "hermanos" ("brothers") cause you never know when one of these unhinged retards might overheard and misunderstand you, and use it as an excuse.

When I lived in an apartment owned by BigCorp, calling for repairs was fast, easy. Payment was automated. Everything was managed professionally. Routine maintenance was done.
When I rented from a family with like 8 units, calling for repairs was "Lemme see when my cousin George can come over, maybe in four days". George comes and whacks the problem with a big wrench, pretends it's been fixed. It has not. Payments somehow got lost. Maintenance was a mysterious concept, an antimeme that never seemed to penetrate into the minds of the owner's family no matter how often I mentioned it.

The artsy people who think it's fine to steal from Whole Foods are envious losers, downwardly mobile types who think they're owed something by society.
They can't grapple honestly with their own lack of success, or how they perceive themselves. So they tell themselves a fairy tale about how it's actually fine to steal, mumbling incoherently about Big Business or Life Under Late Stage Capitalism or whatever pre-defined phrase hits their ego in the right place.
They don't have the finances to buy what they want. But they're entitled to that fancy hand cream, life owes them that neatly pre-packaged sushi roll! And so it's fine if they steal it, because, you know, Bezos is, umm, killing the planet. Yeah!
They try to make their personal grievances into a political issue to justify their lack of morals.
