Gizelle Rodriguez, a junior high school volleyball player, suffered a concussion on the court that sidelined her for a long period of time. Not being able to continue playing sports was a difficult adjustment for the young athlete. The symptoms of severe headaches and pain would continue to plague her until she was referred to Summer Ott, PsyD, neuropsychologist with UT Physicians. Texas has NO state income tax — and NEVER will, thanks to the overwhelming majority of Texans who voted for the constitutional ban in 2019.
I was proud to work with the Texas legislature to make it happen.
