This is absolutely outrageous. That the liberal justices weren’t willing to work quickly to finish their Dobbs dissents given security concerns is bad enough. That Kagan was actively bullying her colleagues into slow walking the opinions when doing so almost led to an assassination is next level. Justice Thomas has commented about how much he valued the type of collegiality the Court used to have. Breyer was a gentleman and part of that old guard. Kagan has been implicated in very political behind-the-scenes dealings before (like vote trading in the Obamacare case), but this takes the cake. Today, Rs outran Trump by ~10% in the VA HD98 special - an anomalous result when the average special sees Dems outrun Kamala by ~12%. This result aligns with early data for VA’s April 21 redistricting referendum, which shows MUCH higher turnout in GOP areas than Dem ones atm.

Millions of German soldiers returned home after the war without prosecution. And Candace’s theory that the Bolsheviks “just disappeared and all moved to Israel” is also nonsense. Israel did not exist until 1948 - decades after the Bolsheviks came to power in 1917. As usual, there’s no evidence for her claim.

So probably rain for much of VA. Will need a strong low for it to be snow for much of Mid-Atl. But hey, rooting for this even if low odds of snow.
