After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I’ll be retiring as Chief of Police for Hamilton Township on May 8, 2026. Even typing that out feels strange, but I know this is the right time. I started the police academy in 1996 and got commissioned in 1997. I’ve worked for four agencies since then, but these last ten years here in Hamilton Township have been the most challenging and rewarding years of my career. I’ve had the chance to work with many outstanding cops, great staff, and genuinely good people. We’ve grown a lot over the years, become more sophisticated, and built a department I truly believe in. This wasn’t an easy decision. There’s still a part of me that loves this job and always will. But I also know the department is in good hands. Assistant Chief @CptQshort has been a big part of what we’ve done here, and I know he’ll lead it the right way. We’re hosting an open house on April 29, and I’d love to see you there. It’s been an honor. 💙 ~ Scott

Talked to Sara. Brian is refusing his bi-pap treatments so his brain function is diminishing quickly - he has very poor oxygen & high carbon monoxide levels. They set up a hospital bed so he doesn’t have to hunch constantly. Update when I can. Prayers welcome & appreciated

I have not been on much and I'm going thru a lot. I keep getting told that I'm strong and I can weather the storm but this storm just keeps getting worse like cat 5 hurricane! I'm not as strong as some think, tho I'm trying to fight! I need to find my faith!
