@Watch_LFC Harvey Elliot was too slow and weak. Attacks flew past him. Balls bounced over him. In upgrading him to Wirtz, he have signed a much more expensive , slightly more technical, lighter weight version of an equally unsuitable (for us) player.

For me, the argument for keeping Harvey Elliott is: 1) Wirtz doesn’t really have a back up. Yes, Szoboszlai can play 10 but keeping Harvey provides a clear option in case Wirtz gets injured and allows Szoboszlai to stay in CM instead of being moved around all season again 2) RW back up. Ultimately, it allows us to save money on buying a backup RW and focus money on a bigger signing in CM if Mac Allister leaves.

The Catch: The intern had put him on a 15-Liter Non-Rebreather mask. The monitor now showed an SpO2 of 100%, but the patient was unarousable, breathing shallowly and bounding pulses. The intern was confused: "His saturation is perfect now! Why is his GCS dropping?" A classic ward tragedy. Med-X, what did the intern just do, and how do we fix it?

My pending complaints will try to get answers as to how long this would have taken without escalation and how long others who are less inclined to get angry and shout, have to wait.

@Dan_Wyke I was explaining to a GP trainee what excellent continuity looks like. After 19 years of a personal list approach where continuity is prioritised over access, I do recognise my 2.5k patients and their parents or children in the supermarket. Its an honour and very rewarding.

I've been registered with the same surgery for 16 years and in all that time not a single dr there has indicated that they recognise me. Aside from being an inefficient way to practice medicine, I find it really rude! Is this a strategy GPs use elsewhere or unique to my surgery?

Why is DNR so final. Why can’t you have some interventions and specify which you do not want. Elderly people often do not want to be a bother and maybe this is exploited by DNR signing.
