Nothing lifts my spirits like Colorado taking action to build more housing Coloradans can afford.

California says Trump cannot roll back key climate rule in new lawsuit latimes.com/environment/st…

Two-minute read. Worth it. In January, our department ran operations targeting child exploitation and human trafficking. Officers worked in plain clothes and unmarked vehicles while conducting surveillance ahead of warrant service. These steps protect the community, preserve evidence, and allow multiple investigations to progress. Each case often takes months of work. During those operations, officers were followed, filmed, and misidentified on social media as ICE agents. That kind of interference puts children and vulnerable adults at risk. This week, we have conducted additional investigative operations around Loveland. Many carry significant risks and require careful planning. On Tuesday, we posted a notice about increased police presence. Residents appreciated the transparency. Still, rumors surfaced. Let’s clarify some of them: Rumor: ICE is in Loveland this week. Truth: If they are or were, we are not aware. Rumor: We are hiding information. Truth: These investigations remain active and require extensive follow-up. Sharing details could jeopardize case integrity. Rumor: Homeless people are being targeted in raids. Truth: They are not. Homelessness is not a crime. Rumor: Comments are being deleted. Truth: We do not delete or hide comments. Facebook may remove content that violates its rules, but free speech is respected here. Rumor: Officers are acting paramilitary. Truth: Tactical gear exists to protect life. It may look intimidating, but it keeps everyone safe. In the photographed incident, SWAT responded to an armed person. The person was safely taken into custody, no officers were injured, and neighbors remained unharmed. Other rumors exist, but we won’t create a novel here. Know this, Loveland: We are committed to transparency, public safety, and protecting the most vulnerable. Chief Doran has emphasized these values throughout his three-year tenure. Police work is not always easy. It can be confusing to watch and tough to do. People hold different opinions about law enforcement, including our department. Are we perfect? No. Do we strive for excellence? Yes. Every single day. Regardless of support, we will serve, protect, and help whenever needed. We are just a phone call away. #JusticeKindnessHumility

I suspect our entire almost 40 trillion dollar national debt is due to fraud. I actually suspect the amount stolen from us is way higher. We are being robbed blind and absolutely nothing is done about it

How do we free ourselves from this cycle?

🚨 BREAKING: The House of Representatives has passed a bill mandating automatic deportation for illegal aliens who commit welfare fraud, in a 231–186 vote.

🇭🇺🇪🇺 EU ramps up “disinformation” controls before Hungary vote Brussels and major platforms like Meta have activated DSA tools just weeks before Hungary’s elections. The system coordinates with fact-checkers and NGOs to limit what it labels “controversial” content. This goes beyond disinformation, allowing Brussels to sideline dissent and shape political narratives. Why it matters: unelected EU bodies could end up influencing the outcome of a national election. @MichaelCLFields @BellPolicy Stop lying, dude. It's absolutely not true and you know it. Initiative #195 preserves TABOR's prohibition on "added surcharges." #copolitics #coleg
