@KaroshiMyriad So that's how you solve the "people who bought "Just as planned" getting everything for free" problem. Welp it was good while it lasted.

@StormslayerDev I am so excited to get it (especially after my Xbox controller for pc got a drift...) but I will say, as perfect as this controller looks for me, I still prefer the Xbox joystick alignment than PS ones.

The steam controller is the most underrated piece of tech. I can't wait for this to drop. Huge fan of the original, the extra stick and Dpad make it perfect now

The Steam Controller may finally be getting closer to launch, as new leaks suggest Valve Corporation has received its first large shipment of “wireless PC controllers” in the United States. The update comes from well-known Valve hardware leaker Brad Lynch, who reported that a large quantity import was spotted last week.

@PirateSoftware Now we just need Developers and most importantly Publishers to adjust their pricing with purchasing power for their already released games. I really hope they do.
English

This is actually a huge deal for consumers.
Pricing for games in regions like Brazil, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada generally suck due to direct currency conversion. Purchasing power is absolutely a better conversion metric.

Valve has updated their pricing conversion tools that include three different methods for game devs to choose. One is simple currency exchange, the second uses public data about the avg purchasing power, and the third uses multiple data sources. Read more below Credits @SteamDB

@Techjunkie_Aman that saying, the crashing issue will probably (hopefully) get resolved soon
English

@Techjunkie_Aman I've been using it for a good while now, it's overall great and I recommend it to others, but there are drawbacks, not many plugins, my dev friend it is done in a bit hacky way so people probably are turned off by that and also (more recent thing) it's been crashing randomly

Steam just got its own “modding layer”…
Millennium is an open-source framework that lets you:
• inject custom UI into Steam
• run plugins inside the client
• modify themes with JS + CSS
• hook into Steam’s web interface
It also supports:
• JavaScript + TypeScript frontend (React inside Steam)
• Lua backend running in usermode
• FFI bridge between frontend and backend
• HTTP request interception and modification
• custom scripts & styles injected into Steam windows
Works on:
• Windows
• Linux
And the best part:
No deep reverse engineering needed.
Everything runs through a structured plugin system with a curated plugin store.
Basically…
You’re not modding games anymore.
You’re modding Steam itself.

@Euroraptor_ @TheDealMakerGuy Sounds like an L to me. Now Apple will take their tech, close their product and make the it even less competitive. I don't see how it's good other than for Apple and people who got rich from making this product. It's definitely not good for PL or employees that work there.

@ValourApp I would be interested in this service. But can we self-host it?
English

@KingMolozite @Fireforcechad I had to look it up myself, but I found best description I found was
Apathy "I don't care"
Passivity "I care, but I won't act"
English

@Fireforcechad What's the difference between apathy and passivity????

@YouTube why are you removing one of the last cool remaining features of youtube which are custom subtitles?! Youtube been constantly been removing cool features and adding trash that no one cares about (for example the games...) Wise up youtube, stop removing things people enjoy
