@KeruboSk @DianaMaina18 Now kids gather around .. This is how you can pass with any type of contraband in Nairobi airports. They even aide you to get through as quick as possible. Limited searches... Facilitated passes like anyone in first class..

I missed my flight in Nairobi once because of traffic on Mombasa Road. Like fully missed it. I got to the airport sweaty, exhausted, dragging my suitcase like it personally betrayed me. I already knew there was no chance, but I still ran to the counter hoping for mercy. The woman checked her screen, looked at me, then said, “You were the last passenger.” I laughed a little because what else do you do at that point? Then she lowered her voice and said, “The plane is still on the ground.” Next thing I know this airport employee is SPEED WALKING me through the terminal like we’re in an action movie. Security waved me through, another worker grabbed my carry-on to help me run, and I’m apologizing to literally everyone while fighting for my life. I got to the gate completely out of breath. The guy scanning boarding passes looked at me and said, “Eh, Nairobi traffic. We understand.” People on the plane actually clapped when I walked in looking half dead. I have never respected airport workers more in my life. Big up to them.

They are trying to give Affordable Housing a bad smell but they can no longer hide the progress. From Laikipia to Homa Bay, President Ruto is undertaking the most nationally spread development program unprecedented and unparalleled in Kenya’s history. Outperforming President Ruto will be a tall order for future presidents. He’s already dwarfed Uhuru and his father alongside Mwai the vote thief (2007). Only arap Moi endures!

Youre just ignorant and stupid, people build houses in accordance to the local resources at their disposal, kisii built those houses and are moving towards mordern houses at a higher rate. The reason you see many is the land in kisii is fragmented too, luos build similar houses, kikuyus/kale build timber while NE build nests like houses

Almost nyumba Zote za Kisii hukua na roofing hii design and they are mud walled. I think the poverty level huku is high than all other regions in Kenya. Ukipita hii njia ya Sondu to Kisii town you'll spot nyumba za matope with such roofing almost after every 30 seconds.

Waluhya, As you sing WANTAM, ask yourself why these factories died under the chokehold of Mt. Kenya leadership: 1. Mumias Sugar Company – Mumias, Kakamega 2. Chemelil Sugar Company – Chemelil, Kisumu/Nandi 3. Muhoroni Sugar Company – Muhoroni, Kisumu 4. Sony Sugar Company–Awendo, Migori 5. Nzoia Sugar Company – Bungoma 6. Britania Foods – Western Kenya operations. 7. Pan paper It's very fashionable to sing WANTAM, but you don't know how critical factories in your region were systematically killed. Also ask yourself why sugar factories died but the coffee and tea sectors thrived.

George Ruto
George Ruto@Georgeruto001·
Ruto spends 3 billion daily paying interest accrued on loans borrowed by Uhuru Kenyatta! Yaani, Uhuru Kenyatta massively borrowed, and at the time he was leaving power, there were no plans in place on how to repay them. Ruto inherited an economy teetering on the edge of a precipice. Most of the debts borrowed by Uhuru Kenyatta matured under Ruto at the backdrop of global headwinds, including a post-COVID economic environment, a historic drought, a rising Federal Reserve interest rate, and a crippling debt crisis. In fact, if President William Ruto had not moved decisively within his first year in office, Kenya today would be in default — not hypothetically, but practically. By mid-2023, Kenya was spending 70% of its revenue on debt servicing. Now you can imagine KES 70 of every KES 100 going towards payment of interest on a loan borrowed by your predecessor, with only KES 30 remaining for recurrent and development expenditures. Despite all these, the Kenyan economy has shown remarkable resilience and recovery, one that reflects the strength and effectiveness of President Ruto's bold economic reforms. Inflation, which stood at 9.6% in October 2022, fell sharply to 4.4%, well below Kenya's Central Bank's 5% target, bringing relief to millions of households. The Kenyan shilling appreciated by nearly 20% against the US dollar (from KSh 162 to KSh 129), placing it among the best-performing currencies globally. Meanwhile, foreign exchange reserves have grown to $13.3 billion, extending the import cover from 2.5 to 5 months. Milk prices have risen from KES 35 to KES 50 a liter.Coffee farmers now earn up to KES 160 a kilo from KSh 65. Tea earnings grew from KES 138 billion in 2022 to KES 215 billion.Sugar production jumped from 490,000 to 815,000 metric tonnes, reducing sugar imports by 70% and boosting farmer earnings from KES 50 billion to KES 90 billion. Financial inclusion has expanded through the Hustler Fund, launched within three months of Ruto's presidency, as promised. Over 27 million Kenyans have accessed loans totaling KES 82 billion, and the fund has mobilized KES 4.5 billion in savings. For the first time, millions previously excluded from formal credit systems are accessing financing through a revolutionary credit-rating model that does not rely on collateral like payslips or title deeds. To address the urgent need to create opportunities for the hundreds of thousands of young men and women entering the labor market annually, President Ruto's policies have significantly expanded employment opportunities. Over 640,000 jobs have been created through the Affordable Housing Program, while the Climate Worx Program, an ambitious initiative aimed at engaging youth across Kenya, particularly in informal settlements, has created an additional 110,000 jobs. Domestically, Ruto has created 842,000 job opportunities as seen in the dailies. Beyond domestic efforts, the government has also implemented strategies to facilitate labor mobility by securing job opportunities abroad. As a result, more than 400,000 Kenyans have been placed in international positions across healthcare, agriculture, construction, and other sectors. You can blame Ruto all you want, but the guy has done exceptionally well done Uhuru Kenyatta who inherited a vibrant economy with little debt.

Nairobi Expressway is 27 kilometres and cost about KSh 88 billion, that’s roughly KSh 3.25 billion per kilometre ☺️☺️ And that’s a four-lane road. Rironi - Mau Summit Road, 175 km main stretch + 58 km (Rironi–Maai Mahiu–Naivasha) is costing about KSh 187 billion. That’s less than KSh 1 billion per kilometre. And remember, key sections like Nairobi to Naivasha will be six lanes. But the Expressway is “good,” Mau Summit is “bad,” and Kasongo must go… Alright 😅
