Poilievre continues attacking PM Mark Carney: "Nobody knows his plan—probably not even him," he said. "He [Carney] hasn't said if he'll renew USMCA or how he'd replace $600B in exports." "Tell the 2.6M Canadians relying on U.S. trade where their jobs will come from."

PM Carney on not attending Question Period: "We have a very strong team in this government. And I believe in the team responding to Canadians. We govern as a team ... It would also be useful if the opposition had more than one question."

"There's one thing that's worse than being uneducated and it's being badly educated. And Mr. Carney is very badly educated on economics." -- Pierre Poilievre says, as water dribbles down his chin

Mr. Rousseau is expressing what millions of Canadians who don’t know french and have tried to learn it feel. What I am tired of is that a few elites (in Ontario primarily) get to tell the 80% of Canadians who don’t speak french fluently that we need to sit on the sidelines. It’s time for a conversation about what 2 official languages actually means. What’s transpired over the last few days is not about the communication or language but about control.
