To quote the New York Times, “Many Americans Say the Democratic Party Does Not Share Their Priorities.” Men in women’s sports. Abortion up until the moment of birth. Open borders. Defunding law enforcement. Democrats are getting more extreme.

My MAGA friends never like me saying this, and it’s not a popular stance, but I’m not opposed to this, and I bet I know why they’re doing it. The sober reality is that agriculture jobs will never be filled by native Americans, I don’t care how much people disagree on the point. Ask most farmers and they will probably say the same thing. If we yanked out all the illegal farm workers, the sector would be chronically short of labor, and that might spell catastrophe for our food production. I’m sorry if people disagree, but that’s the truth. And Hispanics (non-cartels) by and large are not a threat to our system of government. Yes, they earn wages and send remittances back home…and yes, many gamed the system over the years, but our immigration enforcement has limited resources, and there are much more dangerous groups we should be focused on: Islamists, cartels, trans-national gangs, fraudsters, Haitians, Venezuelans, etc. The “deport them all” policy sounds good on paper, but it’s not realistic in practice. I’m in favor of focusing ICE on the above list, and figuring out a way to get farm workers legal, have them pay taxes etc. And also, I know a lot of Hispanic people. Most are conservative and don’t favor Democratic candidates. If Republicans do this for them, that’s a potentially large voting bloc that leans Republican. Maybe I’m too optimistic there, but with limited resources and a real security threat of labor shortages, this narrow carve-out seems like a wise thing to do. I know people don’t want to hear this, but I bet they looked at the data and realized how big the problem would be if they did nothing.

Why the hell are 50 House Republicans pushing amnesty for illegal farm workers? I sure as hell didn’t vote for this open-border nonsense. Deport them ALL. America First means securing our borders, not selling out our sovereignty for cheap labor. 🤬🤬🤬
