@Truth_matters20 “In no world is this Christianity.”
2 Kings 13:21 says a dead man touched Elisha’s bones and came back to life.
Scripture disagrees.
English

Worshiping and kissing dead men's bones is straight up paganism. It doesn't matter whose bones you think they are. In no world is this Christianity.

@UcheMaryOkoli @Truth_matters20
How do we choose Mary over Jesus? She was his mother…perfect & sinless enough TO. BIRTH. GOD. We don’t worship her…we ask her to pray for us to her son, whom he NEVER denied her.
English

@Truth_matters20 @ScubaDocJMP Hey who compiled that bible?!?! Got it right…they were wrong for 1500 years…and scripture alone is infallible and literal…but not when Jesus says my flesh is true food…got it
English

@ScubaDocJMP Romans 5:1, Titus 3:5, etc. The entire Bible, actually.
English

@Truth_matters20 It’s painful how misinformed you all are…it really is.
English

The "Vicar of Christ" should be pointing people to Jesus and not Mary.
Pope Leo XIV@Pontifex
Mary is the Mother of the whole Church. Everyone can turn to her with filial confidence, certain of being heard, protected, and loved. #GeneralAudience
English

@emmaus_e @brokenbose @BillArnoldTeach @sola_chad This is just wrong. Purgatory IS scriptural…what’s NOT scriptural is sola scriptura. The very nature of SS is division…of Christ’s children and his unified church.
Sorry Pastor Dan has let you down.
English

@brokenbose @BillArnoldTeach @sola_chad “Cleansing us doesn't obviate the necessity of purgatory...”
One does not have a necessity of purgatory if not established in scripture.
Purgatory is absent fm scripture in both name & implication. Instead, scripture says: Christ’s blood cleanses us; confession keeps us right.

Everything I am about to say below is official Catholic teaching which every Catholic is required to believe….
1. Mary is not God.
2. Mary is not equal to Jesus.
3. The pope is not a demigod, nor a guru, nor an oracle, nor is he infallible ALL the time.
4. Justification is not by Faith Alone.
5. Justification is not by Works Alone.
6. Justification is by Faith in Christ, accompanied by Works of love in Christ.
7. Purgatory is not a “second chance” for the dead.
8. Purgatory is temporary, and it is only for those who are already saved, so they can be purified before entering heaven.
9. No one is saved, unless it is through Jesus Christ.
10. We must trust in Jesus Christ.
What I have said above is absolutely 100% true, and by making it a public statement here, I would be inviting disciplinary action from my bishop if it were not true.
English

@j_divis @CapturingChrist Says the believer in faiths that rampantly spin off new denominations because of pastoral interpretations
English

@CapturingChrist Easy to interpret scripture to mean what you want.
English

I will stick with prophets and apostles. Couldn’t find the role of Pope in the Bible.

The Honey Badger@Nance726
This is my Pope. I would criticize your pope, But you don’t have one. So, shut up about mine.
