Nuclear uses 760-1080 times the land footprint on the ground as onshore wind.

You are confusing empty space between wind turbines with land use, when such space between wind turbines is used for farming, ranching, open space or even putting solar panels on.
Further, nuclear uses an infinite amount more land than offshore wind, tidal or wave, which use zero land.
Nuclear uses an infinite amount more land than rooftop solar PV, which uses zero land.
Nuclear uses 3 times the land as geothermal per W (Fig 5 of the paper above).
If you are so concerned with land use, you should agree that nuclear is unnecessary, because enhanced geothermal produces the exact same baseload as nuclear, with one-third the land use, and cheaper, cleaner, faster to install, and without weapons proliferation risk, meltdown risk, waste storage for 200,000 years, CO2 emissions, or underground uranium mining lung cancer risk.
