@SenSanders Why is there so much wealth inequality between Congress and the rest of the country?
English

@RepJayapal He does not need to be deported back to a bad place, he can seek residency somewhere else.
English

@RepJayapal TPS stands for TEMPORARY Protection Status. Can you morons please explain your definition of TEMPORARY?????
English

@BBMagaMom So on flights of an hour or less. I think most can handle that
English

🚨 Delta just said “F you” to regular flyers.
Starting May 19, NO MORE free snacks or drinks on flights under 350 miles. Thirsty and hungry the whole short hop while they nickel-and-dime you.
Meanwhile, CEO Ed Bastian banked $27.1 MILLION last year.
Consumers ALWAYS lose. Airlines get richer. Executives get fatter bonuses.
This SHIT is why people hate corporations.
Where the hell are the antitrust laws? These airlines merged themselves into a near-monopoly, killed all competition, and now they’re openly robbing us while the execs get richer. Charge more, give less, and laugh all the way to the bank.
Greedy bastards.

@lady_valor_07 I would have bitch slapped you. That is less than 10%. If you can afford a $500 dinner you can afford to tip respectfully
English

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic.

@DefiantLs Where ya been Amy? You could have already been doing this as your peer @Ilhan was feeding the fraud train from Congress
English

@SenWarren Why do you say he doesn’t? Your tax laws allow him to deduct the $10M
English

@its_Lexieroy We should start putting ethics standards on Congress relative to accuracy of public statements. Both sides lie. We need to penalize the liars
English

@warDaniel47 What skillset beyond fraud schemes do they bring to the area? How did Mn survive in all those decades before they migrated under a TPS order?
English

@SenWarren Good. Now maybe Democrats will take seriously the word Temporary. You want Temporary Protection Status to mean permanent. You want Temporary subsidies to be permanent. We want temporary to be that, temporary
English

@RedSox Was offered free tickets to corporate box seats. Said thanks but no thanks. Free food, free drinks, free parking, and free tickets were not enough to drive into Boston to see this shit!!!!!!
English

@yktvmich That was my one experience with them. They suck you in and than feel you to death
English

@TaraBull Most car insurance fees is on injury and not car repair.
English

@WheelerRipWA @MercilessOzob What the market will bear. That $60,000 house was once $1200
English

@MercilessOzob 850 sq/ft 2 bedroom 1 bathroom built in 1975 on a 100x100 lot. How’s that worth $309,000?

HEY COUNTY ASSESSOR — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU.
Let’s call this what it is.
I’m being taxed on money I never made.
Think about that.
I bought my property in 2012 for $60,000.
Now the county claims it’s worth $306,000.
Did I sell it? No.
Did I realize a profit? No.
Did I receive a $306,000 check? Not even close.
But my tax bill? That went up like I did.
That’s the problem.
This isn’t income.
This isn’t cash.
This is a number someone wrote down on paper — and now I’m expected to pay real money because of it.
If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t owe taxes until I sell.
If my paycheck doesn’t increase, I don’t suddenly owe more income tax.
So why is housing treated differently?
Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains?
A home isn’t just an asset on a spreadsheet — it’s where people live. And under this system, you can do everything “right,” pay off your house, and still get squeezed harder every year based on a theoretical value you never turned into cash.
That’s not ownership. That’s renting from the government with extra steps.
And spare me the talking points about “services” and “inflation.”
This is about being billed for value you never received.
People are waking up to it.
