Dear @Microsoft, someone is trying to hack into my account. I am in bed when I received these notifications. I'm not going to enter these password reset codes. I never asked to be reset.

Massachusetts has a choice to make: Do we plow ahead with a half measure expanding South Station, or do we connect the Commonwealth by bridging North and South station to link our rail network? The question isn’t “Can we afford it,” but rather “Can we afford not to?” 🚇 🚧

Never know who you might bump into on the midway at the @TopsfieldFair ... Maybe even the @MassGovernor. Gov Healey reminded me that it's America's oldest fair of its kind, started in 1818. We're lucky here in MA to have iconic and historic fun events like this. #mapoli

@FairweatherPhD @sam_d_1995 it’s the way he said “children who haven’t been born yet” that made them laugh. he’d be better off using the children who are currently alive and there!

If you’re wondering why nothing ever gets done in Massachusetts. This is an op Ed by the chair of MA House Transport committee who claims that tunnels are anti climate bc they can flood and cites a study suggesting that a monorail should be built instead bostonglobe.com/2024/06/24/opi…

@brendanwhitsitt Setbacks can also encourage land/lot consolidation and therefore large scale corporate developers, rather than enable more local, smaller multifamily developers.

Why should there be any setbacks at all in an urban environment? Each of those red arrows represents dozens of people who will never get to live in this community.

@the_transit_guy @bellachu10 Seems like they have basically unlimited land to store cars. Probably not worth the cost to the municipality to build mass transit under those circumstances.

This is a casual reminder that Oklahoma City, the 20th largest city in the world's largest economy and superpower, has NO transit connections to its airport. The revenue the airport makes from parking is 2.88 times more than what is made from airplane landing fees.

@berkie1 1767...amazing what they could accomplish without the BPDA, a 1000 pages of zoning code, lawyers, EIRs, neighborhood associations, abutter meetings, traffic engineers, etc.

Boston’s Temple Street was first laid out in 1767. It wasn’t until the 1970s that Mayor White and Governor Dukakis widened the sidewalks, banned parking and formally designated it a “pedestrian priority street.” The new name “Temple Walk” never caught on however.
