What’s the best way civilians can actually support veterans that isn’t just saying ‘thank you for your service’?

@haveaconcern Not until high school….up to 10th grade when we had a new high school built in 1974 did we have AC.

When I went to 1st to 6th grade there was no air conditioning. Did you have air conditioning in school.

@miles_commodore When I lived in Arizona I used to golf when it was 100+! Once it reached 116 before we finished.

If you had to be outdoors for 5 hours straight and you could bring and wear anything you want, which one would you choose... 100 degrees with humidity or zero degrees?

@BamaSaltyMarine The M134 Minigun CAN fire at a rate of 6000 rounds per minute, but are almost always operated at 3000 - 4000 rounds per minute. The M4A1 can fire up to 900 rounds per minute, but not for very long due to, as you pointed out, barrel heat.

Folks, I’m aware anything can be used an “assault weapon” my point was for those that keep saying an assault weapon can fire 6000 rounds in a minute! No rifle, that I’m aware of can do that without the barrel melting…
