You don’t even have to be fully pro any of these sides I support. You can have questions, uncertainties and even doubts. But the moment you start supporting Russia, the Regime or the terrorists—I genuinely think you’re insane.

NATO died 6 months ago. Got lots of pushback from the Europeans back then. Poland attack ignored and Rutte yelled at Estonian PM for calling an Article 4 meeting when Russian MiG-31s flew in. Some are finally realizing NATO is indeed dead and are going through 5 stages of grief.

There's one moment from the liberation of Bucha that will stay with me for the rest of my life. At the entrance to the city from the Irpin side, near the railway line, there's a very nice and cozy apartment complex, I once wanted to buy an unfinished flat there, but it was out of my price range. When we returned to Bucha alongside Ukrainian forces, that same complex had been badly hit. The Russians had positioned artillery in the courtyards nearby, so shell and fuse crates were scattered everywhere. Burnt, torn-off BMP tracks lay strewn around. In the parking lots, among mountains of debris and wreckage, Teslas burned to the ground. Nearby, rows of small buildings with little shops, cafes, bakeries, riddled with bullets, looted and torched. All around -- grayness, darkness, the feeling of an exhumed grave, as if you could feel with your very skin that something evil had happened here. And there, on the basketball court, a man was wandering aimlessly in silence. Just walking in circles, over and over again. He still couldn't come back to himself. All 33 days of the occupation he had hidden in a basement right there under those buildings, literally right under the Russians' noses, hiding so as not to end up among those who, as captured on camera, were marched in single file with their hands behind their heads and taken around a corner to be shot. But that guy was lucky. Several days had passed since the Russians left, and he was still walking there in circles, in silence. I tried to talk to him, to ask if he needed anything, and he raised his eyes to me and said: "Do you know why they hate us so much?" He started to sob, wiping away tears. "Do you know? Tell me, why, why, what did we do to them? Tell me." I think that evening I came home to Kyiv after a day in the field reporting on the atrocities in Bucha, and for the first time in a long time, I got drunk.

You morons started an offensive conflict with Iran, with no coherent plan for the strait of Hormuz, you’ve killed the one man you could have negotiated with and cemented a regime for another generation. You’ve raised oil prices globally, stated a global recession and quickly found out you aren’t capable of defeating Iran or even opening the strait. You then call on your NATO ‘allies’ that your president has belittled and slapped with Tarrifs for the last year who all politely decline for the above reasons. It’s almost like the USA learns nothing from previous conflicts. Went to Korea to prevent communism, sacrificed half the population to an even worse regime. Went to Vietnam to again prevent communism, ended up with the communists controlling the entire country that was previously split. Went to Afghanistan to rid them of the Taliban, within one week of leaving the Taliban had control again. Destabilised the Middle East with conflicts in Iraq, Syria and Libya causing power vacuums that gave birth to ISIS. For a country with the world’s ‘best’ military you do tend to fail your objectives a lot! Take your troops out of our countries, you’re going to need them to fight another forever war, that will undoubtedly end exactly where it started.

Unbelievable. American troops get hit — and Russia is accused of helping line up the shot. If that’s true, Trump’s silence is not “restraint.” It’s humiliation. America bleeds. Putin grins. And MAGA still calls this strength?

Renewed strikes are reported in Ust-Luga, Leningrad region. Last night, Ukrainian drone already attacked oil facilities there, inflicting serious damage. Locals are reporting that the port is once again on fire. #Russia

Nothing the US says has credibility anymore. Nothing, not even the boorish insults it spews. Only its support for autocracies is taken seriously. It’s the US’ only actively positive foreign policy agenda: undergirding despots. As for liberal democracies, the US has become unpredictable and predatory, a caricature worse than the worst caricatures by the worst america-phobes of the past. What remains of the West — Europe, democratic Asia and aspirants such as Ukraine and Moldova, no longer trust the US and instead hedge their bets and keep their distance. Meanwhile, China keeps cool, its head down and its commitments. I fear this will end badly for members of what we once considered the West, including the US itself. Ein frontaler Angriff auf das Privateigentum mitten in Bayern! Derselbe Mann, der das traditionsreiche Oktoberfest als „größte offene Drogenszene“ beschimpfte, feiert sich lieber auf dem CSD-Wagen als „Bürgaymeister“. Während er für bayerische Tradition nur Verachtung übrig hat, inszeniert er seinen Verlobten Sebastian Müller nun als Münchens erste „First Gentleman“. Das Fazit: Statt bürgerlicher Realpolitik gibt es radikale Ideologie, Eigentumsfeindlichkeit und woken Lifestyle-Zirkus. München hat jetzt also einen grünen OB – und die wichtigste Info scheint zu sein, dass er schwul ist und sich „Bürgaymeister“ nennt. Politik? Ach ja, gibt’s auch irgendwo zwischen TikTok und Instagram. Seine sexuelle Orientierung sollte keine Rolle spielen – tut sie aber, weil sie sich hervorragend vermarkten lässt. Seine Politik sollte eine Rolle spielen – tut sie weniger, weil Inhalte deutlich weniger Klicks bringen als Selbstinszenierung. Geboten wird: ein bisschen Wohnungsbau-Rhetorik, viel Verkehrswende und maximaler Social-Media-Charme. Klingt weniger nach Stadtführung und mehr nach Influencer-Kampagne mit Rathauszugang. Fazit: München hat keinen OB gewählt, sondern ein gut gebrandetes Gesamtkonzept. Mal sehen, ob Likes irgendwann auch Wohnungen bauen oder für Sicherheit sorgen.

Die Stichwahlen haben ein durchwachsenes Ergebnis für die CSU gebracht, trotzdem steht fest: Ohne die CSU geht nichts. Wir stellen rund 1000 Bürgermeister, sind die Nummer 1 bei allen Kreistagswahlen und es gab einige Höhepunkte. In Nürnberg, Erlangen, Aschaffenburg, Hof, Landshut oder Weiden konnten wir schöne Erfolge feiern. Aber manches Ergebnis schmerzt, gerade bei den Landräten. Das müssen und werden wir sehr ernst nehmen. Die Analyse ist klar: Durch die AfD gab es mehr Stichwahlen und die AfD-Wähler wählen in der Stichwahl tendenziell nicht die CSU. Klar ist: Kommunalwahlen sind Personenwahlen. Das gilt für Stichwahlen ganz besonders. Es gibt keinen Amtsbonus mehr, sondern eher eine Anti-Establishment-Stimmung. Viele Amtsinhaber haben darunter gelitten. Jeder Fehler wird heute härter bestraft als früher. Wir werden nun alle Ergebnisse aufarbeiten. Wir danken allen Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten, die sich für die CSU engagiert haben. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle Gewählten!
