Today the majority of State Central Committee, which essentially acts as the elected board of directors for the Republican Party of Virginia, voted to remain neutral and abstain from taking a position on the 3 horrendous amendments that will be on your ballot this November: -unlimited abortion -undefined marriage -immediate restoration of voting rights for all felons You may have varying opinions on these but the official party creed would demand a NO vote on all three. The republican caucus in the General Assembly voted almost unanimously against them all. This is a massive betrayal of our base, our creed, and the elected officials in the arena that are fighting for the values of their constituents. I recommend asking your local committee representatives how they voted and why. As we have witnessed across the nation, voters have grown tired of weak and wishy washy Republicans—I say GOOD! We have our work to do in Virginia. Time to clean shop and start working from positions of strength and principle rather than weak compromise. Fortune favors the bold and God blesses the obedient. We shouldn’t expect excited voters when we can’t even live up to our own standards. PS. I’ll be working hard to defeat all three. I hope you’ll join me. 🇺🇸
