Leagues progress so far. This evening has felt like a massive gut punch though. - CoX is not operating the way I was hoping. When I learned ToA, you could pick up teams in the lobby and crack on easily. That doesn't seem to exist at all for CoX and unfortunately, experience is king. - Vardorvis is far too tanky against the mage build. This means I have to fight him pretty much as I would on the main game. This now has me questioning if my build is even correct. - Corrupted Gauntlet kicked my ass. There seems to be a massive skill gap that I need to overcome, but it could also just be the fact that I have 53 ranged. I feel as if a lot of my ambitions for this Leagues are not going to come to be. This might just be a scramble to Dragon and then calling it a day. Given how much content I might not be able to have a proper crack at, I may just skill my way there. #OSRS

@PennyOSRS @SoloQJokerr I'm playing deep water with thorns dps.osrs.wiki/?id=OrbitalBea… For Vardorvis I just camp the shadowflame quadrant to keep health up and take extra damage here and there to proc thorns. Awakened Vardo was a bit rough but was able to do it on 3rd orb.

@SoloQJokerr At the moment, my build is Water magic plus thorns. I am interchaning Devils Element and a shield depending on combat scenario. I am actively building into air magic with current pact unlocks. Vardorvis has far too much magic defence, so I think I am just going to melee him.

@pcgamer Title is a bit misleading. The dude was caught real world trading multiple times. He would dox and send his little goons to harrass people that undercut or didn't sell their items to him. And now after years of abuse he gets a little slap on the wrist and threatens to pop off

@Kelble @Naaackers Yep. And it's a well documented issue with no real fixes other than changing to another brand. I've personally gone through every combination available and none fixed the crackling issue that appears randomly

@Naaackers Naw the crackling is absolutely driver issues. It’ll be pure audio than out of nowhere straight humming in my ear. Changing the sample rate and buffer size to something else and then back to your original settings in the diver controller resolves it

I was going to let this slide instead of waking up and choosing violence but I'm seeing replies that recommend the Behringer Uphorias instead and other interfaces they've never even used. Here's some actual audio advice if you've never purchased an audio interface before Buy a USB mic first. They are just as good if not better for content creators because a lot of the intricacies and advanced features are boiled down into palatable concepts for people who aren't audio pros. Whatever you've heard about USB microphones not being as good as XLR are complete horse cock. You can get amazing USB microphones for $100-150 that are plug and play, have one touch audio enhancements and build in clip guard or noise suppression. Speaking of, the newest scarlett line of interfaces have auto gain and clip guard options that make it a great first interface. All the "crackling and USB disconnect" issues are not the fault of the device, it's the user. God speed, spider-man

@PeralexIRL @Sinfever121 You can't misrepresent wow pvp back in the day then. We use to just not need 800 addons to play the game for us. It'll be a nice return if they do actually break all those you listed barrier to entry will be lower too and not chase off new players.

To clarify for all PvP players this coming Tuesday you are losing: - Omnibar / no longer track enemy CD's in any capacity. - Omnicc / no longer track party cooldowns (insanely bad for healers) - Details / THIS is worse than PvE players have it, as you can no longer see enemy healer or damage. - Bigdebuffs / No Crowd Control awareness to easily dispell / watch over your healer if you are DPS. - No DR tracking Icons you are used to over the last 20 years, in fact they are now basic icons that make little sense. - BattleGroundEnemies / No longer track enemy team in Blitz or battlegrounds - WeakAuras / literally track anything (combat) - TellMeWhen / literally track anything (combat) - GladiatorloSA / audio queues & accessibility This list doesn't include TONS of countless other addons that will no longer work properly, but stuck to more super mainstream options. This kills a lot of the depth of PvP, especially for the most popular bracket (Solo Shuffle). Will be interesting to see where this leads the next few weeks. @WarcraftDevs @Warcraft @BlizzardCS @Zorbrix please consider PvP instance API changes. <3
