@SecCardona Before PSLF can be even looked at DoE has to follow the law to separate JCSLs even w 20+ years service. In the meantime I’m told to wait and required to continue pay unti DoE does there job, because there’s no payment pause for JCSL. @SC_DoUsPart

@SecCardona Can you start adding a disclaimer of…”EXCEPT IF YOU HAVE FFEL OR JSC LOANS?” We fought for s1098 to be passed into law, and have since been waiting for ANY progress to separate and qualify.

@SecCardona HELLO! Have you forget about the 776 teachers, nurses and firefighters with FFEL Spousal Consolidation Loans? @POTUS signed the Joint Consolidated Loan Separation Act on Oct 11. It's law of the land. Implement it, or avoid the administrative nightmare and just cancel them.

@SecCardona @usedgov Maybe take some time out of the fun week to come up with plan for JCSL separation like law says. Still paying exes portions, paying loans that qualify for PSLF years ago, and have exes loans still show up on their credit. @SC_DoUsPart

@SecCardona @usedgov What have you done to help return the constitutional right to bankruptcy to American student loan borrowers? You realize you can not keep ignoring this issue. This will not go away. Pass S.2598 and cancel ALL student loan debt through the higher education act.

@SenWarren Please do something about enforcing the JCSL Act. Signed into law yet we are still paying exes portions, servicers like Navient will not speak without ex on the phone, no payment pause and DoE & PSLF is on hold until process is made. @SC_DoUsPart

@SecCardona That’s nice but what are you doing to help those of us stuck in spousal consolidation loans now that there is a law directing you to separate them? There is no law for Biden’s student loan relief but their is one for ours. We need to be priority!!
