8 years ago today rugby lost a legend and a man that I’m grateful and fortunate to call a friend. We first played u18s v each other, stayed friends throughout our careers on and off the pitch. He did a little better than me! Big man big heart and sadly missed

CONNECTION - Good contact and arm action through the tackle ACCELERATION - Accelerate after contact to ensure the body continues through the tackle and to help the speed of reload post tackle

Here are the points: SQUARE - Get and stay square for as long as possible to give no reads for the attacker DICTATE - Dictate time and space that the attacker has - be in control FEET - Foot placement to get body weight going through the carrier - push off the hitting leg
