Bank CEO that operates in urban, suburban and rural markets stated that most of the deposit exception pricing is coming from rural markets. Meaning retirees are feeling the cost of living pinch, or they are now comfortable going to a competitor with no nearby branches.

$265 Million Loan Default Anticipated @trdny reports Starwood Capital faces default on a $265M CMBS loan for a 22-hotel portfolio. This follows a similar distressed $577 Million hotel loan that Starwood is resolving via asset sales.
