Can you please stop trolling? Up to 2023, Adobe did not print it at all during the signup flow. They simply did not disclose there is an early termination fee. It was buried in the 40-page T&C somewhere deep down around page 34 This is why the FTC sued them. This cancellation dark pattern is slowly killing Adobe It turns promoters (customers who love the product and pay for it) into vocal haters I am an example as well who got tricked into the sub you cannot cancel without a penalty. I will NEVER buy or recommend Adobe again

I am a high school chemistry teacher. For years, I encountered students who did not know their multiplication tables and it interfered with their ability to understand chemistry. This year, I decided to take matters into my own hands. ⬇️

@SciInTheMaking @30ieswisdom I'm not sure the premise is true (that memorizing tables helps anything). In my small sample of 1 (me) I purposely still haven't learned because I don't want to rely on my memory. No doubt it made me slower at times but I have full confidence in my solutions.

Ok I’m gonna be real about layoffs for a second and share a POV that I haven’t heard too many people talk about. Disclaimer; most of my career has been in professional services. That’s relevant because this is generally an industry that runs lean, scales up and down and isn’t afraid to cut deep. It’s not for the faint of heart. When you work long enough in professional services, you spend some time working with the large multinational corporations. Most of these companies make things or are found across all the major sectors: healthcare, CPG, pharma, etc. etc. So many of these companies are just so big, and often times operating in legacy environments—that in many though not all, it’s commonplace for them to be operating with significant “fat”… duplicative roles, folks whose expiration dates have passed, unprofitable BUs… you name it. There are lots of places for people to hide and some know how to do it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve witnessed how so many folks who work for these kinds of companies have no idea how much they are sheltered from the kinds of things you’ll see in fields like professional services or even more rough and tumble environments like startups (generally speaking) and only recently, tech. So… AI is going to be an excuse for these massive companies should they decide to jump on the efficiency bandwagon. It already has been for some. As much as I don’t love how cruel it can feel to be laid off—I can understand and have seen first hand that’s there’s a lot of roles in a lot of companies where it’s very questionable how much value is being created. I think this will be tolerated less now…
