Pretty sure the @BBC doesnt know the difference between a learning difficulty and a learning disability. Again on #lineofduty last night a person was referred to as having learning difficulties when he clearly has a disability, & now on @BBCBreakfast a reporter has done the same.

I get the sentiment. But no. The term “hero” is dangerous. Put people on pedestals and it’s so easy flick them straight off... Fair pay. Respect. And LISTEN to us.
