If I'm Bowman, I'm moving Jarry to whomever will take him and yes, I'm adding assets to incentivize a trade. Then I'm calling Bill Guerin about Filip Gustavsson (full NMC), who has a $6.8M extension kick in next year.

Of course, I'm also absolutely open to giving Kapanen a very long look at 2RW and see if the results are legit / can truly and consistently sustain over a large sample. If so, that's huge, and you could have room to build a really strong bottom-six.

Unfortunately, RNH is not a top-six player at even-strength at this point. His 5v5 points per 60 rate ranks 334th in the past two seasons. He had less 5v5 points than Nick Cousins and Jordan Martinook this year. Moving forward, I think you build a third line with him at 3LW.

I don’t believe what we just watched. Anaheim Ducks out-shoot Oilers 20-6 in the first period. Lead 2-1 but it could be 5-0. Dominating. Edmonton turnovers galore. McDavid almost invisible. Only a handful of Ducks have playoff experience. And they own the puck.
