The Dallas Fed asks producers what WTI price they need to drill a new well. As of the recent Dallas Fed Survey (June):
Answers: $66 on average, $67 in the Permian, $62 to $70 across regions, $55 is below all of it.
The June survey shows costs still climbing. Services input costs jumped from 34.9 to 64.4 with zero firms reporting a decrease. Every cost index sits above its series average.
Those same 127 firms put year end WTI at $80.55. The lowest forecast on the board was $60. Not one said $55.

Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are at it again. They are dusting off another price control proposal and calling it “consumer protection”.
They want politicians to set interest rates on credit cards. If lenders can’t price risk, they will simply reducing lending on credit cards.

There’s an important distinction getting lost in this debate: affordability and access are not the same thing. Supporters of interest rate caps argue they’ll make borrowing more affordable. But if lenders can’t price risk appropriately, they’ll simply stop extending credit to higher-risk borrowers. That doesn’t help struggling Americans. It leaves them with fewer options precisely when they need them most.

Our military should target all of the powerlines around Tehran. Don't destroy the power plants, which would take years to rebuild. Just bomb the major powerline connections, something that would take weeks/months to repair.
We don't want to bomb them into the stone age, just turnoff the power grid for now.

- Russia bombed Kyiv the evening of July 10th, early morning the 11th.
911 call from Graham’s DC residence at 8:30pm ET in DC on 7/11.
Most air travel travel from Europe back to US starts in the early hours European time, to arrive back in DC in the early afternoon around 2-3pm ET. (the further East your final destination, the earlier in the afternoon you'll complete your trip)
Graham likely departed Kyiv for Poland on 7/10, and spent the night in Poland. And then flew out of Poland in the early hours of 7/11 CET to arrive back in DC around 3pm ET.
I have flown from Eastern Europe back to Indianapolis more times than I care to remember. It's always the same old script. Depart around 6 or 7am, and arrive back in Indy around 4-5pm.

‼️Lindsey Graham died in Kyiv, not Washington, DC. He arrived in Kyiv on the morning of 10 July. The trip to Kyiv entails flying to Poland and then taking a 8-10 hour train ride. He was visiting a drone factory in Kyiv that was hit by the Russians. He did not have enough time to depart Ukraine on Saturday morning, take the train to Poland and then catch a flight back to DC.
