@xyspgUwU I drove into Manhattan last week and was not billed for congestion pricing by ezpass even though I have one. My license on my car is also registered on SunPass and the congestion fee was billed through that. Weird.

@Mikekantorski I installed Ubuntu onto mine and it works great as a Linux box. It recognized every device perfectly and it is a great portable Linux computer.

I love my vertical screen in my legacy S. It can show much more information than a horizontal screen and while the horizontal is definitely better for watching video, I am driving much more thanwatching video. When I drive my wife’s ‘24 Y, I miss the second screen and vertical main screen.

I used to make fun of legacy S and X owners but honestly, I think I prefer the vertical screen. It literally makes sense for everything but watching a movie and I ain’t watching a movie.

@ArielleCPX The best domain name story is Nissan.com who was a computer company owned by a guy named Mr. Nissan. Nissan auto tried unsuccessfully to get the domain name and he fought them and kept the name.

Once upon a time, I paid $6000 for a domain name. I had a music niche site, and it was a lost domain of a famous singer... great links. One of my faves actually. I did a naughty thing, i bought it and 301'd to a page on my site. It did wonders. One day the singer's legal team reached out to me and via WIPO domain disputes took the domain back, free of charge. Lesson learnt 🤣

@MissJilianne I prefer my 2016 Model S over a new 3. It is a much more substantial car and drives much better than a 3. At highway speeds, the S is a much better car.

So many Model S owners were convinced to trade in their cars for a Model 3 or Model Y just to transfer Full Self-Driving. Those of us who didn’t? We are now owners of collector’s items.

Years ago I used to run computers that control pretty important equipment at a radio broadcast studio. These computers played back audio and controlled equipment for satellite power levels, etc. They ran MS-DOS and had had a bunch of text on the screen. There were too many times where people walked up to the keyboard and tried to check their email on the computers because they thought they were public access computers. We finally had to put signs on the keyboards telling people to not touch the computers.

Our store phone rings. A customer answers it before I can get to it.) Customer: "Hello?" Me: "I'm sorry, that is the store phone. Please hand it over to me." Customer: "Go away! I'm trying to have a conversation here!" (I step forward to take the phone away. I hear talking from the other end of the phone.) Caller: "Why, hello there! Can I order some tampons, some birth control pills, and a thong?" (Both the customer and caller are male. The customer gets embarrassed and thrusts the phone into my hands.) Me: "Sorry about that, sir. What would you like?" Caller: "Oh good, that idiot's gone. Do you have any Metallica CDs in stock?"

@MissJilianne I know that if my 2016 S were to be retired because it was no longer operable, I would buy a different brand because I like the size of my S. My wife’s Y is a pale imitation and the 3 is simply too small. And it is a definite no for the Cybertruck.

They spent over an hour showcasing the accomplishments, technology, and greatness of the Model S and X, only to have Franz and Elon explain why it’s so important to end production. Weird.
