@Mandarln0range I would say the book is better but in a more generic way how most books are better. Not any specific adaptation issues, just able to generally move more slowly and go deeper into the various conflict points, as well as have a proper internal monolog

@SacriGrape @postsbyjb @SlimerSlimy No not really. If you are halfway decent at the game you have to actively force yourself to play very slow. I usually set up a villager breeder and an iron farm withing the first few hours and from there you have basically solved the game unfortunately.

@MaloraHightower @r1ssas It wasn't actively dimming due to there being the astrophage predator to keep the population stable, but I would assume that even a stable population makes the star dimmer compared to it not being present at all

@PixellNerd @r1ssas Both humans & Eridians discovered that Tau Ceti wasn't dim like every other star in the region. Why? Grace & Rocky figured out that Tau Ceti did have an astrophage population but taumoeba kept it in check so it didn't dim that star. Thus predator sent to Venus and Threeworld.

For two rounds in a row at Limited Qualifier I went to time (finishing one game at turn5 of extra turns). I used to be one of the fastest player. I guess I became old and washed and became slow gg. (I also took a draw at LCQ in Vegas Sealed btw lol)

If I can do a combo thay involves a lot of spells into Rhystic, better to do it and hope the draws are in my favor, still a better chance to win than to just not fire it off

@SaffronOlive It is not. In 1v1 giving your opponent resources is dumb. End of story. But in edh the win chances are 25-25-25-25. If you as p1 can tilt that to 40-50-5-5 you've massively improved your win rate. p3 and 4 will be miffed you 'fed p2 the game', but who cares? You came out ahead

@Mengu09 @DubuTCG The only PM deck I have together is Machine Head and some local guy wanted to test and I was the only one available and I genuinely felt a little bad cause like its a fine deck and like a rogue homebrew, but certainly ain't the meta either so its not the best for mu testing 😭

The second week would make a second ring that would overlap with the first at exactly two points, and so those are the two spots
