The ceasefire is technically in place. The naval blockade is running. The Strait is closed. The financial system is being squeezed. And Iran just sent a new peace proposal through Pakistan. Washington is negotiating and strangling at the same time. Tehran is doing the same thing. They just call it "diplomacy."
