Please stop lying to citizens just to please Modi. Women reservation bill was approved in 2023 itself. It can be passed even now . But your gang wanted to pass Delimitation bill which would weaken the representation of South Indian states including Andhra Pradesh. Requesting you not to sell the self respect and the State rights of Andhra People who have made you DCM 🙏🙏🙏 I am ready for debate with you to explain . Are you ready #justasking

A historic opportunity to strengthen women’s representation in India’s legislatures has been deliberately blocked by the opposition. The opposition’s stance makes it clear that they lack the intent to support transformative reforms that strengthen Bharat’s democracy and empower women. By refusing to back the Women’s Reservation Bill, they have once again placed political calculations above national progress, delaying a long-overdue step toward inclusive governance and gender justice. Supporting this landmark reform would have demonstrated a collective commitment to empowering women and deepening democratic values. As an NDA ally, the @JanaSenaParty firmly welcomes and appreciates the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in bringing this significant bill before Parliament. Had it been passed, it would have marked a defining moment of pride and progress for millions of women across the country. We remain confident that, in the days ahead, women will secure their rightful and strengthened place in India’s legislative institutions. @PMOIndia @AndhraPradeshCM

You were at the forefront of this fight against Unfair Delimitation. You successfully defeated the BJP's attempt to grab the rights of South Indian states.

@Tejasvi_Surya MP ji, I understand your urge to go bombastic on @INCIndia . Thats your ideology as a BJP MP. But pray tell me why the hell did you speak up against Telangana formation and compare it with Pakistan. Do you have any iota of knowledge about our state or how many martyrs laid down their life for achieiving our state! Pls do ask @Eatala_Rajender garu , your fellow MP who emerged as a leader from the T agitation. Does @BJP4India @BJP4Telangana and @bandisanjay_bjp garu @kishanreddybjp garu agree with Tejasvi Surya? #Telangana

April 17 will be remembered as a shameful day in Indian democracy. A BLACK DAY for every mother, sister, and daughter of this nation. Today, the masks of the Congress and their INDIA alliance partners have fallen. By snatching away the 33% reservation, these parties have committed a political sin against every mother and sister of this nation. It is disgusting that after crushing the rights of women, they had the guts to celebrate and shout slogans inside Parliament. This is not just an insult; it is a betrayal of Nari Shakti. Today, the hopes of crores of women were attacked. They hurt the dignity of #NariShakti . The history of Congress is a history of betrayal: • 1996: They failed our women. • 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003: NDA under Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji brought the bill repeatedly. Congress blocked it repeatedly. • 2010: They buried it before it could reach the Lok Sabha. • 2023: PM Modi ji’s government passed the Women’s Reservation Bill. With a clear majority, Congress had no option but to support it, a pro forma endorsement when obstruction was no longer possible. • 2026: Now, when implementation is near, they have struck again to stop women from entering the halls of power in 2029. This is their reality: They use women for votes, but deny them power. They talk big in speeches but strike with an axe when it matters. Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji and Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji had clearly answered every false fear being spread by the opposition. They assured the nation that no state would face injustice. No region would be harmed. Yet the opposition chose lies over truth. To every sister in this country: Remember these faces. When they come to your door asking for votes, ask them one thing: “Why did you celebrate after snatching away our rights?” Defeat them like they defeated your bill.

Dear @ncbn, You’ve betrayed your state Andhra Pradesh. Women’s reservation bill was passed in 2023 unanimously by all parties. We’ve defeated the de-limitation bill for the future of Indian Union. Your betrayal of Andhra will forever be remembered!

By blocking the Women’s Reservation Bill, the Congress-led opposition has denied India a historic step toward women’s empowerment. This is not just political obstruction, it is a betrayal of millions of women who deserve equal voice and rightful representation in Parliament. The nation will remember.

This is NOT okay. Watching idols being immersed in Lake Ontario at Pickering is heartbreaking. Plaster, chemicals, and non-biodegradable waste straight into our water, polluting one of the Great Lakes for 'tradition.' We can respect culture without destroying the environment.

By defeating the Delimitation and Constitutional Amendment Bill, the opposition parties have done a great disservice to the Nation. With the freeze under Article 81 set to end after the first Census conducted post 2026, the forthcoming census exercise will reset seat distribution purely on population, potentially leading to a steep decline in representation for Southern, North-Eastern, and smaller states. The NDA’s proposal was a sincere effort to preserve federal balance, protect the voice of Southern, North-Eastern, and smaller states, and ensure 33% representation for women. It recognised that states which have performed well on key development indicators should not be penalised in the democratic structure. It is unfortunate that political agendas have prevailed over long term national interest. Those celebrating this outcome must introspect, we have lost an opportunity to secure a fair and constitutional safeguard for rightful representation. constitutionofindia.net/articles/artic…
