Hawkers in the rush hour! Mumbai local trains to get licenced hawkers. City commuter bodies are livid as the Mumbai division of Central Railway has green-lighted a controversial plan to allow authorised licenced hawkers inside crowded local trains for the next three years, ironically to discourage illegal hawkers. Passenger associations have protested against the Central Railway but since the CR is not yielding now they have shot off a letter to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra seeking his intervention.
