Reform being so openly hostile to Britain’s support for Ukraine is one of the most off-putting things about them. Flying the flag of a free and sovereign Ukraine is a mark of our upholding their right to exist as a nation in the face of the murder, rape and pillage of Putin’s unprovoked invasion. Doing so does not detract from or diminish Britain’s national interest. It enhances it. We have a clear national interest in the defence of Europe, and not emboldening further Russian aggression.
James Orr@jtworr

If you were wondering why the Conservative Party just suffered its worst defeat in Essex - and why it will cease to exist there after the next general election - look no further. The Tories spent 14 years treating the national interest as one priority among many.

The Unite the Kingdom march organisers are spreading hatred and division. They do not reflect the Britain I’m proud of. Peaceful protest is a fundamental right and one I will always protect. But if protest turns violent, we will act swiftly, with extra court capacity in place.

Today the voices of division will be loud. They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us. That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for. lbc.co.uk/article/keir-s…

You know what kills me? No one is actually interested in why Mandelson was such an obvious veto. One of the most congenitally corrupt figures in the history of Britain, yet no one wants to scratch the surface. Why did Mandelson ask Jeffrey Epstein for an exfil out of Kurdistan? Why was Mandelson in Kurdistan? He was not in government. Yet in August of 2011, the Kurds were in an armed battle with the Turks over disputed territory. Mandelson clearly wasn't on holiday. And the fact that he needed Jeffrey Epstein - of all fucking people on the face of the planet - to bail him out... There is no morally acceptable answer for this. How is it that I appear to be the only person on the whole of the internet who found this? Why are you not asking questions? Why is the whole of the media silent?
