from now, no one’s going to care whether Tesla entered a new city with one robotaxi or 50. What will matter is that they launched, and then scaled a safe service. The people complaining that Tesla launched with only one robotaxi in Dallas and Houston are the same ones dismissing the rollout as a “stock pump.” So which is it? Too fast to be credible, or too small to matter? lol. At the end of the day, Tesla is heads down trying to scale this thing and get ready for Cybercab. The fact that Tesla is starting with Unsupervised rides in Dallas and Houston I think is a notable step forward, and could mean a more accelerated Cybercab rollout than most think.

$ROOT had a fantastic earnings report and it was a great start for what they needed to accomplish. The recent selloff felt genuinely unfair, but digging into the mechanics shows exactly why the market is hesitating. .... but being candid..there is a $ROOT reality check...IMO.. high cost of growth. To accelerate sales, they had to massively invest in their BD function and increase losses. Even with that, their policy price remains nearly double $LMND. there is a concentration risk..CAC is low in partnerships but very high direct. The glaring issue is that a massive percentage of partner sales comes from a single 3rd party. With potential credit issues brewing at that entity, it adds significant risk... they are diversifying this. Until last quarter... they have had a bit of a leaky bucket...While Root is profitable now, their margins are expanding far slower than $LMND. They have frankly failed to grow their total customer count, which means they are either spending to fill a leaky bucket or aggressively dumping bad risk. I also believe there is a "Secret Sauce" vulnerability... people underestimate the power of agents MCP. Root's reliance on 3rd party partnerships is actually a massive liability. All that BD investment could be washed away when 3rd party agents can simply use AI to "chat with insurers" and instantly find the best deal, all that investment in partnership platform capabilities... could be totally pointless in a year.. The bottom line..$ROOT has a very small float, meaning a flip in macro or market sentiment can make the share price move violently. It is an interesting tactical play, but objectively, $LMND is structurally built to outperform over the long term. Most of the insurance analysts look at the Book value and net income, but you can clearly see when you place them next to each other, market, Root and LMND.... While $LMND has no Net income... (they will soon).. They have far faster Margin expansion, far faster Revenue growth and are doing so with far greater operating leverage, lower CAC and a car customer wait list larger than $roots entire customer base....

Until the US government can pass any sort of an audit/review, this is a firm no. I understand the thought process and it makes sense but I have no doubt this would make the current wealth gap even worse. There has to be accountability and so far I haven’t seen any evidence there would be.

Agreed but Claude will go through similar stretches. Perplexity is emerging as the best option as you get access to all the models and they have the ability to determine which one is best suited to compete the task you give it. You can also pick the model you prefer if you’d like.

ChatGPT is getting to be nearly unusable for me. More often than not it just bails out when I ask it for complicated research. Anthropic is eating OpenAI’s lunch right now.

Not at all. The long-term thesis is still very much intact. Just may have some bumpy quarters depending on how bad inflation gets. I still have the stock valued at well over $150 as I don’t see them not being able to grow even in a difficult environment. Everyone buys insurance regardless of how bad the economy is. NFA
