WE MAY NEVER SEE THIS AGAIN: #Saints icon Drew Brees used to walk home from practice through New Orleans with his family and was treated like royalty by the city. Despite New Orleans having a reputation for crime, no one messed with Brees. That city absolutely worshipped him.

Mintzy in a War Zone could be interesting. I wish he were going into enemy territory though. How could we make it better / funnier?
Daniel@LSUDAN67

@BFW Says the guy who’s college has confederate bricks on campus. I know a guy who worked for state that purposefully walked recruits around to avoid parents seeing the bricks.

I can’t believe I’m doing this. I think Lane Kiffin is full of it with what he said today. He’s a great coach but he’s a better button pusher. Ole Miss’s past with certain stuff isn’t great but that has nothing to do with present day.

T bob, I love the chance for growth and opportunity but my heart hurts for the marsh and habitat tha this will eliminate. I grew up hunting in these marshes and as we see overall wintering watrferowl decline, I still have the hope that the birds come down with the fist cool brisk winds of fall. I don’t want to pass up progress for the state and having a reason for the younger generations to stay or even come to Louisiana, but I can’t help but ponder on the impacts to our ecosystem

I’m wading into to waters way above my pay grade, but I love space and love the Michoud facility and I think this could be so badass for Louisiana I’ve never agreed with Gov Landry’s politics but it does seem as it investment is coming into the state and some opportunity & jobs

NEWS: Reports suggest SpaceX may be planning a massive 136,000-acre campus in Louisiana, potentially the biggest land deal yet for the company. The rumored site near Pecan Island and Freshwater City in Vermilion Parish would cover roughly 212 square miles, dwarfing SpaceX's current Starbase facility in Texas. Local real estate insider Jim Keaty of Keaty Real Estate has been digging into the rumor after dozens of clients started asking about it. No official documents have surfaced yet, but a few sources are quietly confirming the deal. A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries employee reportedly said Governor Jeff Landry visited the site during Easter week. Earlier reports pointed to a smaller 30,000-acre purchase near Freshwater City for a potential spaceport. The location offers remoteness, barge access for moving rockets and proximity to rocket fuel resources. It also lines up with the aerospace incentive bills currently moving through the Louisiana legislature, which target companies investing $1 billion or more. Louisiana already has a strong aerospace base with NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, an 829-acre complex employing roughly 3,000 people that has built rockets for over 60 years. If confirmed, this could become one of the largest private land purchases in Louisiana history and a major expansion for the SpaceX-xAI combined company, which is also gearing up for what could be the largest IPO ever in mid-2026. Might be a prerequisite to actually go to one of these stadiums before putting them on a list, I can't speak to any of the other ones, but Memorial Stadium in BR is a dump, the best thing it's got going for it is ample parking. I think they've still got the same bathrooms and lights since it was built as WPA project under FDR 😂

It’s disappointing to listen to Saints media not give actual insight to the draft. Saints reached on a few project when they need impact guys. This front office is notorious for projects that don’t pan out and throw in Wilson who has been bad every year. There are some good guys they drafted but also too many projects. Saints are going to be a liability on defense especially at corner

@CalebSalersST What’s funny is that Golding was making calls on Kiffin’s behalf to try and assemble staff. Pete was coming to BR prior to being offered the job

Pete Golding opened up to ESPN’s Greg McIlroy about the end of the Lane Kiffin saga in Oxford and events that led to him being named the Ole Miss head coach. Golding said that, leading up to the Egg Bowl, Kiffin was hard to read regarding an impending decision to bolt to LSU or Florida, or to remain at Ole Miss.
