I fully support efforts to obtain historical UAP records and data. These records have scientific value, particularly when they have never before been available to scientists. The Council will pursue multiple objectives simultaneously: obtaining historical government records and data, encouraging appropriate transparency, and obtaining new data and evidence that meet today's scientific standards.

🧵 We have released a new policy brief, Concrete Next Steps for UAP Disclosure, authored by @ChrisKMellon, Adm. @GallaudetTim, and Kirk McConnell.
The brief argues that disclosure should now move along three concrete lines of effort: release compelling UAP documentation and sensor data, disclose the government’s intelligence analyses, and reveal evidence of crash-retrieval, reverse-engineering, and related programs.

On a panel with Hal Puthoff & @KristinFisher at the @disclosurefound Forum in DC, @ProfAviLoeb just said of the new UAP Science Advisory Council he’s been tasked with leading by the U.S. gov’t:
“We will do transparent work; we will share our results with the public. The people deserve to know if we are not alone.
“(And if we are not,) it will help us reassess our priorities—we are so conflict oriented currently.”
