@tahanzania Theoretically they had a moat though and could have attracted so many more buyers to that DSP which would have fueled more spend on their SSP. The entire Microsoft ecosystem could have been plugged right into that DSP which would have been incredibly competitive.

@oliviaakory Most F100 brands aren’t choosing viant, yahoo or vibe.co over TTD or DV360…people underestimate the operational challenge of migrating onto a new platform. TTD should have bought Roku when it had the chance. Not owning O&O was one of many strategic misses.

The Trade Desk has to be the most successful company that no marketer I know is using. $46B market cap, nearly $500m in revenue last quarter, and no one here talks about it. Why hasn’t it caught on amongst DTC? Ironic that TTD keeps growing even though share of network (open web / DSP) spend on Google continues to fall.
